Adrienne's POV

I looked out of the car window longingly as we finally crossed into Louisiana after what seemed like forever. Why did I have to transfer schools second semester of freshman year? Everyone already knows each other around campus and I'm going to be lost asf.

I reached into my bag and grabbed some hot cheetos, stuffing about 5 in my mouth at one time. Mmmmmm, oh how I love hot chips. They are literally my weakness. A small smile comes onto my lips as I continue eating my chips, Young Thug blasting in my airpods.

"Adrienne look! We're finally here." My mom and dad turn around and say to me, snapping me out of my day dream. I glance out of the window and notice big stone buildings and pretty, green grass coming from every direction. In the middle of it all is a big sign that says:

"WELCOME BACK TO LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY!"

My heart flutters as I come to the realization that I'm going to be the new girl again. I grew anxious after about 3 minutes of us sitting in the same spot due to the thousands of students trying to move in at the same time. We finally make it to our designated parking by my dorm room and I couldn't help but smile a little.

My mom parks the car and gets out with my dad to help me gather and bring up my things. Before getting out of the car I made sure to apply lipgloss and a little perfume, just in case. There were RA's and student helpers scattered everywhere offering carts to help make moving in easier. I quickly grabbed one and began helping my parents pack my things into it.

"Adrienne even though you had to leave all of your friends back home in Atlanta you've been so understanding during our whole move and we just want you to know we appreciate you baby girl" My dad said to me, pulling me in for a warm hug.

"I didn't want to leave, but I know this job opportunity will help pay for college. I appreciate you all for everything." I said, giving them both a big kiss on the cheek. Ugh I can feel the tears coming already.

My mom noticed instantly and immediate reassured me. " We love you baby and we're always here for you. You saw where our house is and if you start hating the on-campus dorm life you can always come back home. We're only 30 minutes away."

I nodded my head and wiped my little tears as we closed the trunk and made our way to my room. I couldn't help but scan everyone's faces as I passed by them, noticing that a few of the boys were cute. Scratch that, A LOT of them were fine as fuck! I saw boys of every shape and flavor and I felt my mouth watering. It's like I was at a buffet and I wanted a taste of everything.

We finally made it to my dorm building's door entrance where there was a desk set up for checking in and getting your room key and campus ID. I felt someone staring at me, and once I turned around I saw the most gorgeous boy ever. He was tall and brow skin with curly blonde hair. I noticed a lot of tattoos peeking around his neck and forearm, his arms tight in his long sleeve. I could just tell he played football. He stared at me with the same interest, a small smile appearing on his lips when he noticed I was checking him out.

I immediately blushed and turned around, talking to my parents trying to ignore the hole this boy was burning in the side of my face. Finally it was my turn, and I gave the girl behind the desk a big smile.

"Hi welcome to Louisiana State University. Are you a new student or returning?" She asked me, giving me a smile

"Hello, I'm a new student. My name is Adrienne Parker"
