Andrew and Stephanie set up their movie watching nest on the floor of the break room and began to watch the movie. Every light was shut off as they cuddled up close together. Andrew put his arm around Stephanie and she snuggled close to him, laying her head on the broad chest of Andrew and comfortably rested her arm across his torso. Andrew kissed her ear, neck, and forehead from time to time while whispering inside jokes and sweet nothings into Stephanie's ear, she smiled and giggled after every word. About three fourths of the way into the movie, Andrew and Stephanie fell asleep in the glow of the TV screen until the morning sun shined upon their quiet faces.

Stephanie squeezed her eyes tightly when a ray of the blinding sun illuminated her face through the break room window. Stephanie heard a slight moan hum in her ear. She looked up to see Andrew sleepily smiling and staring into her big brown eyes. The sun made Andrew's electric blue eyes gleam like a million blue diamonds. Stephanie smiled at Andrew, but it quickly vanished when she saw the black and blue discoloration of bruises around his eye and forehead.
" Good morning. How does my girlfriend manage to look so hot when she wakes up in the morning? The whole "hair is a rats nest" thing really suits you" Andrew mumbled with his cocky smile she loved so much. Stephanie laughed while gaping her mouth, trying to look offended.

" Don't be a jerk." Stephanie laughed as she punched Andrew in his arm.

"I'm a jerk?" He said sarcastically.

"Yep." She smiled.

" Then I'm a cute jerk."

" So now you're cocky and a jerk?" Stephanie laughed.

" Oh shush. Can I complement and kiss my girlfriend with out getting sass?" He rolled his eyes. Before Stephanie could ask about the kiss, Andrew softly brushed his lips against hers. Stephanie smiled and kissed him back.

"What day is it again?" Stephanie asked.

"Saturday. So that means today we are going to do something different." Andrew got up off the floor and crossed his arms over his head, arching his back to get a good stretch. His shirt stared to ride up and Stephanie sneaked a quick peek at Andrew's defined abs. With a split second thought, Stephanie took the opportunity and jumped up to hug him. The next second Andrew flinched to the surprising sensation of tickling. He embraced her back and after a few seconds of laughter the ticking ceased. He kissed Stephanie on the forehead and took a step back. " Alright Steph, the plan today is that I arranged us to have the day off work because Ms. Darla is training a couple of possibly new employees so that means I'm going to drop you off and then I will pick you up at eight. Dress nice. Extremely nice, alright? I promise you this is going to be a fun night." Stephanie gave a sly smile and stared at Andrew for a few seconds.

"What do you have up your sleeve?" She curiously said.

"Damn, woman! Can't your boyfriend take you on our first formal date after dating for almost two full months? School is in a month! And we will be seniors!," Andrew laughed then quickly swept Stephanie up into a cradle hold while saying, " Alright let's go. See how good of a boyfriend I am? I'm giving you a full day to get ready." They reached Andrew's truck and he drove off to Stephanie's house. When they arrived Andrew and Stephanie parted ways with a quick kiss goodbye.

Stephanie rushed up to her room and swung open the tall closet doors. Her closet was filled with nicer shirts and some shoes. Unfortunately, the only dresses she had were from eighth grade graduation. Stephanie never went to a homecoming since she never had date, so she never bothered to buy a dress. Beginning to panic a little, she leaped onto her bed to grab her wallet. Stephanie took out the money she had and counted one hundred and ten dollars. "Perfect," she whispered to herself. Stephanie fumbled her hand inside her jean pocket and grabbed her phone, calling the first contact she had on speed dial.
