Chapter 1: Friends forever

"Sorry kid, it's not gonna happen."
The boy froze. His mother had a look of shock and fear on her face. "What do you mean?"

The doctor stood up and walked over to a wall, where he had the x-ray of a foot. "Basically, people with quirks are a more streamline version of the human body, which is why those with quirks lose that extra joint in their pinky toes. Your son still has this joint, so he will not be getting a quirk. I'm sorry"

The boy was still frozen. He had a fake smile plastered on his face, and was pale as snow.
"Thank you for your time" the mother said. She grabbed the boys hand and left. They walked out of the building and into the parking lot. "How would you like to go see Katsuki, sweetie?" The boy nodded, but said nothing. She frowned worriedly. The boys mother called her friend, Mitsuki. Agreeing to meet at the park, the woman turned on her car and drove to there. The boy sat quietly. The fake smile never leaving his face.

When they got to the park the woman's friend and her son were already there.

"Hello Mitsuki. How has your day been?"

"Its been fucking annoying! Ever since this brat got his damn quirk, he just started blowing shit up at random! How's your day going Inko?" Responded the woman with the ash-blond spiky hair.

"Mitsuki! No cussing please!" The woman, now known as Inko, said to her friend.

"Right, right, sorry. Anyways, how about we leave the brats here for a couple minutes and get some food?" Mitsuki pointed to a coffee shop just down the street.

"Are you sure? The boys might"-

"Aw come on Inko. It'll be ten minutes and it's not like the brat can get into trouble in that amount of time."

Inko looked at her son and his friend. Her son was starting to actually smile at the other boys antics. "Ok, but only ten minutes." She gave in.

"I bet we'll be back in five." Mitsuki responds.

Meanwhile, the two boys, Katsuki Bakugou and Inko's son, Bakugou was animatedly sharing a video he saw where All Might, the worlds number one hero, defeated yet another villain.

"He was all Wham! Then he was like Bam! And then Boom Boom Boom!" Bakugou said in rapid succession. "It was so cool! I wish you could have seen it Deku!"

"It sounds really cool Kacchan." The boy said, still sad about the doctors trip but scared to tell his friend.

Bakugou frowned, confused. "Hey, what's with the look? Something wrong Deku?" He asked his friend.

The boy was sad and afraid. "Kacchan. No matter what happens, we'll always be friends, right?" He asked.

Bakugou smiled brightly and confidently. "Course you silly nerd! And when we grow up, we"ll be the number one hero agency, and the best heroes that ever was!" The explosive boy cried out. Then he paused, and realized something. "Wait! You got your quirk checkup today, right? Come on, tell me what it is so we can start making our own super awesome Hero moves!"

Inko's son sighed and looked down at his shoes. Steeling his nerves, he looked up at his friend with a determined face "Kacchan, the doctor said I'm-"  Suddenly, a loud explosion came from down the street.

Fear plastered itself on the young boys faces. "That's where the hag and auntie Inko are!" Bakugou cried out. His auntie's son, however, had already started moving without either of them noticing. The living dynamite followed but a second after.

Once they got there, the boys froze at the pile of flaming rubble that was once a coffee shop "Mom! Auntie!" They cried out, and rushed into the rubble. The boys soon found their parents on the ground, near the back of where the coffee shop used to be. Katsuki knelt down next to his mother. "Wake up you old hag! Your not dead, so stop being lazy!" His mother slowly sat up, screaming "Oh can it you damn brat! You can't say shit. All you do at the house is sit on your fucking ass!"

Meanwhile, the other boy had ran over to his mom and was trying to wake her up. Her eyes fluttered open, then widened when she saw her son. "Sweetie, what are you doing here! You need to leave, you need to leave now!"

"Mom, what's going on, your scaring me!"

"Yes, honey, your scaring our son. A mother should make her children feel safe." A voice said from the shadow of  the last standing wall.
"Hisashi, please, just leave us alone! I don't want you anywhere near my child" Inko cried out, shaking with fear.

"Oh, poor Inko, I'm not here to take either of you. I'm here to kill that quirkless stain of society and the slut who birthed and raised him!" Hisashi cried out.

Bakugou was shocked. Deku was... quirkless? Then they couldn't be heroes? He clenched his fists. So the stupid Deku was wasting his time huh? Oohhhh, he was gonna-  But then he paused. Deku didn't know he was quirkless. Not until the doctor told him. It's not his fault. It could have very well been Bakugou that was quirkless. Why couldn't a quirkless person be a hero anyway? All Might said anyone could be a hero, so why not Deku? Bakugou's rage shifted to Hisashi. How dare he call his friend a stain on society! He's the one who blew up a building!

Inko pulled her son in closer. Scared, but determined to save her son. Hisashi smirked and started to walk towards his son and ex-wife. "Don't struggle please, I heard it hurts more if you do" he said with a smug look on his face, drawing in his breath. "Now," he started, lungs full of air. "Goodb-" "Like hell thats happening!" Mitsuki shouted, suddenly tackling Hisashi to the side. "You have no fucking right to call them your son and wife after abandoning them like the shitty piece of bitch that you are!" Hisashi shoved her off of him and punched her in the stomach, knocking the air out of her. "Know your place women." Hisashi growled.
"Mom!" Cried Bakugou, rushing over to Mitsuki. Hisashi turned around, smiling wickedly. "Now where were we? Ah yes" He looked at Inko, who's eyes were wide and crying, and her son, eyes screwed shut and doing the same. Hisashi's eyes gleamed. " purifying society." He took a deep breath. Mitsuki managed to climb to her knees, and saw what was about to happen. "Inko, no!" At the same time, Bakugou saw what was happening and cried out as well. "Deku!" He shouted reaching for his friend.
Inko closed her eyes, and Hisashi breathed red hot flames. But right before the flames hit, she shoved her son out of the way. The boy opened his eyes, and his mother said one thing to him. One thing that changed the course of his life.

"Fly, my little hero"

And Inko was swallowed by the flames.

When the flames died down, all that could be seen was a pile of ashes. The boy crawled over to them, crying. "Ah, the pests mother has been removed. Now to take care of the pest itself." Hisashi said with a crazed look in his eyes. Mitsuki was crying, not able to say anything. Bakugou charged the man, swinging his fists. "No you bastard! Your the bad guy here! Not Deku!" Hisashi simply kicked him away, saying "Fuck off brat" and continued towards the boy. Hisashi started to breath in, preparing to use his quirk, and the boy screamed, louder than Hisashi had ever heard, making him lose his breath.
Waves of pure, unadulterated energy poured from the child, and Hisashi was thrown into a wall, getting knocked out. Then, there was a bright flash of light, blinding the Bakugou mother and son. When they could see again, Katsuki's friend was gone, Hisashi was on the ground unconscious, and the heroes and police had finally arrived. They arrested Hisashi, and as Mitsuki was explaining what happened, young Bakugou saw a feather on the ground. He walked over and picked it up, wondering where it came from. Sensing something, he looked up, and he saw a giant bird like creature, that looked like a person with wings, barely managing to fly, moving away to who knows where. Smiling, he held the feather up towards his friend.

"Friends forever, Izuku."
And somehow, he knew, his friend was thinking the same thing.
"Friends forever, Kacchan."

Hi. This is my first fan fiction, and I want to know different ways I can improve my skills, so constructive criticism is welcome.
Now, I want to know what ships you think I should do. I'm personally leaning towards Fem Todoroki x Izuku, but if you want it to, then it might change.

Finally, as I'm new, I have read enough Bnha fanfics to know basic tags, but if there are any I should add or take away, please feel free to tell me
