Untold Truth (Not Complete)

Chapter 1: You don't remember ?

Waking up in a hospital , you tend to have a lot of questions . But when I woke up I didn't have a single one . I had a thousand and one . First one was , who is the blond haired , grey teary eyed woman staring at me . "Leona ? Baby are you awake ?" she whimpered placing her hand on my wrapped one . I flinched under her warm touch .

"Who are you ? Who is Leona ?" I asked her . She gasped at my words , as if i was speaking a whole other language . "Oh baby I'm your mother , you don't remember me ?" she whimpers .I shake my head no . She gasps again and runs out the door , calling for a doctor . Now I was frightened . Without any hesitation , I yanked the wires from my arm and jumped out of the bed . Big mistake . All of that sudden movement made my head hurt and a sharp pain made itself known in my abdomen .

A male and Female nurse rushed to my aid , trying to get me back into the bed . I put up a fight trying to wiggle my way out of their grasp, but one of them injected me with something , making me drowsy . Then everything was dark again .

I woke up again to voices . "So she doesn't remember anything ?" the woman from earlier asked . "I'm afraid not Mrs.King . But it is common in a lot of head trauma patients " a male voice informed . I opened my eyes to see them both standing at the edge of the bed . The woman noticed that I was awake and rushed to my side .

"Oh Leona , my poor baby " she whimpered . She raised a hand to stroke my hair but I jerked away from her . "Leona ?" the man called .

Who the hell is Leona ?

Oh wait , that must be me

I turned my head to face him . " Hi there how are you feeling Leona ?" he asked . "My head hurts and there is pain in my abdomen " I replied to him . "I figured . Any ways , I'm Dr.Collins , I'm going to ask you some questions do you think you can answer some of them for me ?"

I nod my head slowly .

"Do you know how old you are ?" he writes something on his clipboard . I look around for any hidden answers . I stare at my hands , they look small and soft . I notice black ink on my right and left forearms . "I think I am eighteen " I respond . "That's good you are . Do you know when your birthday is ?" he asks writing down my answer .

I shake my head no . "Oh Leona , your birthday is May 31 2001 " the woman tells me . I think she is my mom . " Do you know why your in the hospital ?" he asks . Again I shake my head no . "You were in a car accident and you were shot, " he tells me .

I was shot and in an accident ?

"Unfortunately you did lose the baby , your boyf-" my mother cuts him off before he can continue. "I will tell her the rest , thank you doctor , how long before I can take her home ?" my mother asks . Leaving me with a thousand more questions .

My mother leaves to the hospital cafeteria to get some food . So now I am alone in the room flipping through the channels on the T.V .Then the door swings open , revealing a tall , muscular man, or boy , with short black messy hair , piercing green eyes , a sharp jawline ,holding a stuffed elephant toy .He is wearing a white T-shirt with black jeans , a leather jacket and shoes . He walked toward me slowly , as if he is not trying to scare me away .

"Hey Leo " his husky voice greets . "Hi " I reply . "The um sign on your door says amnesia patient " he points over his shoulder towards the door " so you don't remember me ?" I shake my head no " I'm sorry " . "No,no,no Kingsly don't be it's my fault that we are here " he sits down in the chair next to me . And I let him . "Who are you ?" I ask him . A flash of hurt rushes through his eyes . "Its me Gray , your boyfriend " he reminds me .

" I'm sorry . The doctor told me that if I get any visitors , I have to ask their name and relationship to me " I mention . "Don't worry about it Kingsly , ask me whatever you want, " he says . "Did you know that I was pregnant ?" I ask .

He smiles "I did . I remember the day that you told me . You came to my house , you looked so scared to tell me , but I was so freaking happy . I wanted us to be happy forever , I wanted to start a family with you . We were going to go tell your mom the day of the accident". He sets his hand next to mine and I grab it giving him a reassuring squeeze ."Oh that reminds me " he hands me the little elephant " this is for you. I got it for the baby a week after you told me you were pregnant " .

Wow , now I know why I must have liked him . He is compassionate , has a way with words , I wonder what there is to him . "Oh here , your phone " he hands me a phone with a clear case that has a picture of us inside . "I found it after the wreck and I held onto it for you . The password is 090819 , the due date. I would wait to open it . Your mom doesn't know that I had it " he tells me .

"You know , I lost the baby right ?" I ask him . He sighs. " Yeah . They said that they couldn't save you both and I had to make a choice . I chose you because I figured that we could always have other kids . I will never have another you . But he will always be our first " he explains . I give him a puzzled look.

"You knew that it was a boy ?" I asked making him smile . "No but you wanted a boy you called him Prince for a week " he answers . "Why would I call him Prince, it seems silly "I chuckle a bit . "My last name is Queen and your last name is King . People used to call us the royal couple . But you called me a royal pain in the ass " he laughs . We talk for a little while more , he tells me about who I used to be and my old life .

The door swings open revealing my mother with a coffee in her hands . She gives Gray a stern look " Grayson , you need to leave sweetheart " . "Yes ma'am , I'm sorry . I'll leave " he gets up from the chair . He grabs my hand and presses a light kiss against it before letting go . He mumbles a small " I love you " to me ,then walks away . Before he gets too far , I grab his hand again and pulled him into a hug . He stiffens for a second before hugging me back . After a couple seconds , he gently pushes me away and starts to head towards the door .

I'm guessing that she felt guilty ,because she says "Wait , Grayson " . He turns on his heel facing her . "I haven't been very fair towards you these past couple days . I got a call from work ,they want me there in a few hours . Would you like to stay with Leona while I'm at work ?" she asks him . His eyes fill with excitement and he rushes to her , wrapping his arms around her .

"Thank you "
