Y/n is almost 17. She is a Junior at O'khasis until she gets adopted. She's cheerleader, a dancer and she loves to sing. Y/n adores nature. She has had a really difficult past seeing as she was put into foster care at the age of 13 and she is now 16...
I woke up and smiled 'Today's my birthday!! I'm finally 17 and as old as all my friends!!' I got up and did my daily routine and curled my hair (or whatever you want to do with it) and changed into the outfit I picked out. I'm not having a party or anything but I'm hanging out with Dante.

I finished getting dressed so I walked downstairs and my dad and Kate were down there. Dad was making breakfast.
"Hey guys." I said sitting down they just nodded and said hi. 'Hmm... I thought they would at least wish me Happy Birthday... Did they forget?' I got really sad because this is all to familiar...
"You're hanging out with Dante today right?" Dad asked me. I nodded. "Okay, make sure you're back here by 2 O'clock ok?" He asked/ said.
"Yeah..." I said We all finished eating and I went of the couch to watch F/s until it was time for me and Dante to hangout. 'I wonder if he remembers'. I got a text from Dante.
D- Hey I'll be there in like 5 minutes.
Y- K, see you soon.
I turned the TV off. "Okay guys Dante's gonna be here soon so I'm gonna wait on the porch." I said as I walked outside waiting for him to get here. I waited for a while then he pulled in the driveway.
"Hey..." I said kind of sadly.
"Hey! I was thinking maybe we would just hangout at my house." He said not even saying anything about my birthday or even notice that I was sad. We continued to drive it was kind of silent so I turned the radio on and started humming along. We got to his house and went upstairs to his room and we passed Gene I gave his a dirty look and slightly growled at him. He took notice of it and winked at me which made me even madder. We sat down on his bed and started watching Netflix. 'I'm kinda sad that no one had said anything. When I lived with Him my birthday was just like everyday... I was kind of hoping this year would be different' We just talked and watched Netflix it was kind of nice but I just wish he would at least wish me happy birthday.
~Kate's Point of View~
"Aw I feel so bad.... She looked so sad...." I said feeling really bad. Dad agreed. Y/n has to be home by 2 so we started preparing. People started showing up. We made her favorite dessert and favorite food we also have a bunch of her favorite snacks. She's going to be so happy but I still feel really bad for this morning. She was so sad.
~Back to Y/n~
"Hey Y/n I should probably get you back to your house now." Dante said as I was dozing off. I nodded and got up and walked outside to his car. We drove listing to music and then we arrived at my house. He opened the car door for me and walked me to the door. I opened the door and it was completely dark inside the house
"Umm... Hello?" I called out to see if anyone was home.
"SURPRISE!!!!!!" A whole bunch of people screamed. My heart skipped a beat and I screamed a little bit.
"Oh my gosh! Thanks you guys! This is great!! I ran up to Kate and dad.
"You're welcome! I felt so bad this morning when we pretended to forget..." She said basically apologizing.
"That's ok. This is amazing and I'm finally as old as you guys!!" I said happily. Dante came up and hugged me.
"Happy Birthday babe!" He said kissing my forehead. I smiled and hugged him.

The party has been going on for a while now. I greeted and thanked everyone. Now I'm sitting on the couch with Laurence.
"This is amazing! I'm guessing you helped out with the planning since you along with Kate know me the best out of everyone?" I asked and he nodded. I hugged him "Thank you so much!!" I said and kissed his cheek- 'Wait why did I just do that??' "Uh, sorry.." I said and laughed.
He rubbed the back of his neck. "It's ok." he laughed. We just continued talking for a while until it was time to open presents. I got some new clothes, perfume, makeup, and some jewelry. Then dad and Kate came up to me and dragged me outside. They covered my eyes.
"Here's your last present..." They said excitedly then uncovered my eyes. They got me a car!!! (Favorite car).
"Oh my gosh!! Thank you so much!!!" I said as I jumped up and down and hugged them. "I got a freaking car!! This had literally been the best birthday ever thank you so much guys!!" I said thankfully.
