F.I.L.E: rise of the night crawlers

the beginning part two

Feraphina walked into the dining room with Star and they went to the dinner table when his aunt was putting the last of the food on the table.

"Miss Feraphina where do you come from?" Firestorm asked politely when they got done eating and went to the living room "well I lived in a small town, with barely any people and my dad got the job at the biggest timestone drillers in the world and I brought y'all some so you can see it."

She pulled out a timestone and said some ancient words that made the time stop "wait what the hell?" Firestorm said out loud, he tried to make sense of this but he only got one reasonable explanation "this is magic" Firestorm said with an awe, he looked at Feraphina and she stared back "yes this is a spell a very old one in fact, I never tried it out before so I decided to try it." Feraphina went up to firestorm "my oh my when I heard about you I never would have known you were this handsome so...lets see what you can do pretty boy" Feraphina summoned a monster the size of a house to attack Firestorm, but he got other thoughts "you want to see what I can do".

Firestorm faced the monster and he cupped his hands together and he made a sword "my weapon of choice sword of the dancing flame" his sword was made of flames and he charged at the beast with blinding speed but the monster dodged his attack and flung Firestorm to the side of the wall, there was a bang as Firestorm busted a hole in the wall into the living room the monster chased him but soon the beast was flown back into the dining room, Firestorm crawled out of the hole with his whole body in flames then Feraphina made the monster disappear "very good Star or should I say Firestorm I'm impressed with your ability and if you join me we could be unstoppable and we can rule this world with an iron fist so what do you think? Take it or leave it?".

She looked at Firestorm as if daring him to reject her offer but he had other plans "no I will not join you I believe in other peoples freedom and not turn this lifestyle into slavery just like in the old days, if you think your going to make me join your little globe domination then you got another thing coming you bitch" Firestorm lunges at Feraphina but she disappeared even with his aunt and uncle, Firestorm was looking around to find them but he finally accepted that they were gone and that witch wasn't coming back.

He walked all the way to Rex's house and knocked on the door and a few seconds later Rex came and answer the door "oh hey buddy did you succeed on your plan?" Rex looked at his best friend's face to realize Fire storm was crying "hey pal...are you ok?" Firestorm shook his head then fell on his knees "t-this is m-my fault" Rex went and picked up Firestorm off his knees and made him stand up "hey I bet whatever happened it was not your fault just come inside my mom made your favorite soup" "I'm not hungry but I will go inside" they both walked inside and sat at the dinner table as he sat down Rex's father started to talk to Firestorm "so Star why are you here? It's late you should be at home".

(ok lets get one thing straight Rex's parents love me they wish I could be there son but you know how the saying goes "you can choose your friends but you can't choose your family") Firestorm looked at the wall then he looked at Rex's father "what home I don't have a home no more" Firestorm told them about what happened at his house then Rex's mother butted in "you said she did a time stopping spell but that's really old magic even older than me how do you think she know about that spell?".

She looked at Firestorm like he knew how she known about that spell "umm...I think she said something about a timestone" Rex's mother seemed to be in shock when he said that then she got a different tone in her voice "I want both of you to go sleep now" she looked at the two boys and pointed at the stairs but they stayed put "but mom I want to know what's going on, I want to know who is trying to destroy my best friend" Rex says as he stands there without moving a muscle "son don't back talk with me just go into your room" they both had an intense stare down.  Firestorm went into Rex's room and lays down on the floor staring at the roof and wondering (what would that crazy women wanted with me?) Several seconds later Rex came into the room and sat down on his bed "mom said we better go to sleep or we could get into some serious trouble so goodnight Firestorm" Rex said while he was turning towards the wall "yeah goodnight Rex" then his eyes begin to close and it went dark.
