Humanity began on a tiny planet called Earth. It is located in the Sol system of the Orion arm of the Milky Way galaxy. This galaxy is in a local group contained in the Virgo Cluster which resides in the Virgo Supercluster.
This is their galactic address. Or at least it was at the beginning of their space age when they first started launching satellites and rockets into space. But the legend of the Human Race did not begin at their space age. To understand humanity we must start at the very beginning of their being. Parts of their history that even they barely knew of. Parts that they've only ever dreamed of. Even so, it is those speculations that allow us to glean the character of humanity.
I have written these stories to show the character of man. Some of them are entirely fictional, some are retellings of mythical stories and legendary heroes, and some of them are stories I knew before humanity withdrew from the galactic community. My name is Xe'Fenrang. My human called me "Fenrir" and I am a friend of humanity my children. Maybe one day you too will discover a human, and I pray you have the courage to befriend them.
