Three months had passed since Louis had been in a coma. The doctors had told Harry that there was a small chance that he would wake up and be his normal self again.
They gave Lottie and him the option to disconnect him, but neither wanted to do it as they couldn't deal with the thought of losing someone they cared for.
Harry had been visiting Louis so much, basically everyday of the week, that he made the decision to quit his job in LA and move to San Diego so he was able to be closer to Louis.
School could also wait.
He wouldn't have to drive 2 hours every day to be able to see him too.
Liam and Harry talked it out and decided to stop 'hating' each other, but they still aren't friends. Harry has also grown annoyed with Liam since he rarely visits Louis at the hospital.
They were best mates, he should be with him, but there was nothing Harry could do at the moment. For now he'll stay with the blue-eyed boy until he wakes up.
Zayn and Niall got together not long after their first date. They have been with Harry throughout those three months, always bringing him stuff he needed when he didn't want to leave the hospital.
They also grew fond of the blue-eyed boy, meaning they visited him even when Harry wasn't there.
The doctors had told Harry and Lottie that if Louis doesn't wake up or show any signs that he will one day wake up in the upcoming months, they will have to disconnect him.
As much as it hurt them, they knew they couldn't do anything else other than pray for Louis to wake up.
