Idea
Everyone knows The Harringtons.
Mr. Harrington a successful businessman.
Mrs. Harrington a good-ish mother and an untrusting wife.
Steve "The Hair" Harrington previous King of Hawkins and good brother.
Then there's Delilah Harrington, the "special one", she's blind.
Delilahs been blind her whole life and has been going to a school in Chicago so that she can get the "help" she needs. It's not normal in Hawkins for people to have a disability so prominent, so the Harringtons decided that it would be better to send her to Chicago.
Delilah comes home every summer, and people talk. The only people that don't talk is the party that always come around to say hi and hangout. Lots of people have opinions on her, take pity on her, there is one person doesn't know what to think. Billy Hargrove, King of Hawkins.
Billy and Steve don't get along, obviously, so then why would he even know about her? On the last day of school he sees Steve hanging out with her in the parking lot and asked Carol who she is.
In the beginning he was simply planning on dating her just to mess with Steve but over time he starts to actually care for her. She shows him a kindness he hasn't felt in a long time and he gives her a sense of freedom and normality she's never felt. He feels scared, he truly doesn't want to hurt her but he knows that anything he cares about either he leaves or it leaves him.
