Olivia's POV.
I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I had to get up at a decent time to run some errands. I reached over and turned my alarm off. I moved my covers and got up and went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. When I finished brushing my teeth, I walked back into my bedroom and over to my closet looking for something to wear. I picked a pair of skinny jeans, a Metallica crop top, and some Adidas. I got dressed then went over to my vanity and took a seat. I curled my hair and did my makeup. I finished getting ready so I walked downstairs. The mail had already gone through, so I went out to check it. I noticed something that caught my eye. I dropped the rest of the mail on the ground. The wedding invitation was what had caught my eye. 'You Are Invited To Joshua Bassett's and Jayka Williams' Wedding.' I couldn't believe it. My heart began to break. I love him so much and I wished I would have told him sooner. I started to cry and realized I had makeup on so I wiped my eyes easy, not messing up my makeup. "Now I need to go dress shopping." I got in my car and drove to the nearest dress shop.
Joshua's POV.
I was doing last minute tasks for the wedding. I got a message from Jayka saying that she would need to be picked up once she was done. I went downstairs and grabbed some breakfast, then grabbed my car keys and walked out of the apartment. I got in my car and drove to the dress shop. Once I got there, I got out and went inside and waited on Jayka. I heard the dress shop bell make a noise, so I turned around. I couldn't believe my eyes. "Liv? Liv, is that you?" I walked closer to her. "Oh my gosh. Liv! I've missed you." I said as he pulled her in for a hug. "Long time, no see!"
Olivia's POV.
I could feel my heart hit the floor. I missed his embrace. His voice. His smell. His embrace. I hugged him back, tearing up. I tried so hard not to cry. "Josh. I've missed you too." I softly giggled, my voice breaking. I started to feel myself cry but wiped my tears away. I pulled back out of his embrace and smiled slightly. "I got your um wedding invite in the mail today. It's really happening isn't it? My best friend is getting married." Josh smiles down at her and nods as he smiles harder at the thought of Jayka * yep it's really happening and I couldn't be happier to share my joy with everyone that I love, you're coming right?" I couldn't help but break more. I nodded as my heart broke even more. "Of course I'm coming Silly. Why wouldn't I?" I felt my eyes water up at the thought of them. "I'm so happy for you," I said as my voice broke. Joshua chuckled. "aye we never know" he looked you up and down "I haven't talked to you in a while, it's like you disappeared from the world and just came back today looking prettier than ever, you must not miss your old best-friend." I chuckled slightly, "I have missed you more than you think. and thanks. I don't feel pretty." I wish I could just come out and tell him. Joshua frowned. "Why's that? You're one of the prettiest girls I know, I don't want you to think anything less." he shakes his head and takes your hands. "There's no words that can explain how beautiful you are, Olivia." I smile and start to tear up "Thank you, Joshua, but you really can't be saying that kind of stuff to me. I mean I appreciate it but.." my voice breaks and i begin to trail off, turning my head away, not wanting him to see me cry, even though he has a million times. Joshua frowns and looks at you. "Olivia, you know that I always compliment you when I see you, but what's wrong with you? Is everything okay in your life currently? You seem a little bit sad, would you look like to join us for dinner tonight?" I nodded and faced him again "I know you do but it's been rough. I'd love to join you for dinner, but I don't want Jayka to be upset about it. I wish i could tell you what is wrong but I can't. Not this anyway. But yes I'll join you guys if she doesn't care." Jayka appears while you're talking and interrupts you. "Don't want Jayka to be upset about what?" She crosses her arms and looks at you before smiling. "Hey Nina, long time no see." I smiled slightly and nodded. Joshua turned to Jayka. "Oh nothing baby, I invited Olivia over for dinner tonight and she thought you would be upset about it, crazy right?" he chuckles and shakes his head and turns back to Olivia. "You're always welcome in our home." I blush slightly, "Congrats Jayka on the wedding, by the way." I smile slightly as my heart breaks more. Jayka gives you a fake smile as she purposely wraps her arms around Joshua's waist. "Thank you so much and no that won't upset me, girl you can come over whenever you want!"I shot Jayka a fake smile. Joshua smiled. "Of course she's coming, that's my best friend babe." He wraps his arms around her too and smiles. "See, I told you Olivia." I could feel that Jayka didn't like me so I gave a side smile, feeling slightly uncomfortable. Jayka looked at Joshua. "Baby, I'm ready to go home." Joshua nodded and turned to me. "Olivia, we are going to go ahead and leave. Dinner will be at 6. Just come over whenever." He hugged her. "I love you." I hugged him back. "I love you too." He pulled away and grabbed Jayka's hand and waved as they left.
