Why is my life so hard? I ask myself while siitng on my bed. My math homework has been laying in the same place for two hours, it's my worst subject. Im still stuck on the same problem I was when I started, but all three of my siblings won't help me!

Brookelyn is my identical twin sister we share the same chocolate brown hair and blue eyes, but trust me when I tell you we are nothing alike. I have a younger brother named Jake, an older brother named Luke, and an unborn sister soon to be named Summer. Jake is 10 years- old and he is in the fifth grade. Luke is 18 and still lives with us because he has NO life. Summer should be born soon because my mom is eight in a half months pregnant!

Then there's me. My name is Aryanna, and I am 13 years old. I have been a ballerina for as long as I can remeber, but this year I'm trying out a photography class. It's a struggle to get what I want when I'm with my mom, and VERY hard to stay on her good side. So, most of the time I ask my dad. My mom doedn't really know I like photography. She doesn't listen to me, it's like I'm invisible.

This morning I woke up sick, I was throwing up. My mom came in and woke Jake up, but didn't bother to look at me. Jake and I share a bedroom because 1) He gets scared at night, and 2) Brookelyn is older than me. When she walks out she starts pounding on the bathroom door yelling at Luke to get out. I could tell she wasn't in a good mood today.

After that she made her next stop at Brookelyn's room and NICELY told her good morning. Ugh, I just hate my sister she always gets on my mom's good side and I never can. I remeber asking her how she stays on mom's good side, but her answer was "It's none of your buisness".

While everyone is getting ready I hear my dad's loud footsteps as her enters my room to tell me his daily good-morning. " Why aren't you up and moving yet?" he asks.

"I've been sick all night, I don't want to go to school" I tell him.

"Okay you don't have to go to school , but you have to go to work with me" he says.

"That's fine" I answer. I love going to my dad's work because he works at an office and everyone gives me candy. I throw my legs over the side of my bed and head down stairs to breakfast. When I get down there everyone is eating including my parents. My dad offers me his chair because there is only 5 chairs at the table and six of us. I sit down in the chair and start eating my breakfast.

"You smell weird" Brookelyn tells me.

"I'm sick" I say.

"Ewe!" everyone exclaims and my mom laughs triggering the laughter of the whole table. I slide my chair back and leave without finishing breakfast. I run upstairs crying and bumb into dad.

"Hey' why are you crying?" he asks and I explain what happened. He finishes walking down the stairs and straight to the kitchen to tell everyone to stop. They all do beacuse, my dad's the boss. I continue eating my food, but everyone keeps making faces at me.

When we get to my dad's work everyone offers me candy like the last time. I take it, but don't eat it... yet. I was having the best timw till my dad's phone rings. It was one of the logest converstation in the history of phone calls.

"Hey Aryanna" he tries to get my attention.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"I have to go on a buisness trip for two weeks" he informs me.

"Dad I don't want you to go i'll be lonley and-" he cuts me short in the middle of me explaining my devistation.

"It's important" he tells me. He means he's going and he doesn't want me to talk about it anymore.

When we get home he tells my mom," Hey hun< I have to go on a buisness trip for 2 weeks".

"Okay, I'll help you pack" she offers like it doesn't bother her that he's leaving. It bothers me.

A week later my dad leaves at around 8 am. "Do you have everything you need?" mom asks.

"Yup" he tells her.

"Your wallet, your phone, charger?" she asks making sure he packed everyhting.

"Yes, yes, and yes" he answers while I head down the stairs to give him a hug.

"Be safe and have fun" I tell him while hugging him.

"You too" he says and gets into his car.

"Love you!" I wave as he gets in his car.

The next 5 days are painfully slow. My mom was in a horrible mood today. Proof of that was she answered every question with a 'no'.

For example: I asked if we had cheese. She told me no. I looked in the fridge and sure enough right there in plain sight was the cheese. Something's up.

A few more minutes pass when I hear a shout from the living room, "The baby is coming!"

"It's okay mom" Brookelyn says after running down the hall. I rush upstairs to Luke's room. "We need to get to the hospital! The baby's coming!" I exclaim and he looks up from his notes.

"Okay I'll drive, but no talking " he tells me. I grab Jake and we head to the car.

Brookelyn, Luke, Jake, and I are all sitting in the waiting room when we see dad rush into mom's hospital room.

A few minutes later he comes out "Come meet your new baby sister" he tells us. 'This baby will change our lives', I think to myself.I get up and I'm the last one inside. I see my whole family cuddled with my mom and newborn sister. I think,' maybe a little sister isn't all that bad'.
