My boredom was building up quickly, and from the looks of it Harry's was to as he continued to walk around campus babbling on about the campus in a cheery tone, that was borderline sarcastic, but he managed to make the best of it.
Even though I wasn't entertained by the school, I did find the scenery absolutely beautiful. Back home we didn't have anything like this at all. It was all just pine trees everywhere, constantly, year-round.
It was different here though, everything was a bright emerald green, just fresh and exciting. Just new.
Suddenly I realized that everyone else had left and it was now just Harry and I standing admiring things together.
"Beautiful", he stated simply looking at the view in front of him.
It was then that I realized that his eyes were almost the same emerald color as the I've been thinking about. That's when I decided it was my new favorite color.
"Harry?"
"Yes?"
"Where is everyone else?"
"I sent them off, they were getting tired of me blabbing on", he chucked slightly, his dimples making a slight appearance. I'll admit he's becoming quite adorable."Hey can I say something crazy?" Harry asked me after a few moments of silence.
"I love crazy", I stated surprisingly confidently.
AN: omfg yes I just did that leave me alone.
"Do you wanna go like get some pizza or something?" He said quite unsure of himself. He was nervously fiddling with his cross necklace.
***
It was probably really naïve of me to say yes, but I was up for pizza, and he seemed like a nice guy.
Me and Harry were sat at a booth in this little Italian restaurant called Di Angelo's telling dumb stories and munching on pepperoni pizza. I was actually having a great time with him, but then I remembered the rule.
"What's wrong?" Harry furrowed his eyebrows obviously noticing that my smile suddenly dropped.
"No, it's nothing don't worry about it", I shook my head softly hoping he would leave it alone.
I began to feel more down as I took a deep breathe in to speak, "hey listen Harry it's been really fun hanging out but I probably should get back to my dorm-"
"Wait." He grabbed my arm softly as I began to rise from the booth, "before you leave, I wanna take you somewhere it'll be fun I promise"
"Pick a number between one and ten", I smiled at him still standing slightly.
"What?" He asked clearly confused.
"Pick a number Harry, if you get it right I'll go with you"
"Hmm, seven!" He shouted in a bit of an over excited voice.
"It was eight, but I suppose I'll go anyway", I sighed, rolling my eyes in a playful manor.
"Great", he smiled taking my hand and leading me towards the door. Maybe he was going to kill me. I hoped not.
When we got outside it was darker than I expected, but I didn't mind because everything was just as glorious. Harry and I had been walking for about three minutes now before he came to a surprising stop and plopped himself in the grass near a large tree.
"Sit", he patted the spot next to him gesturing me. I smiled at his cuteness and sat comfortably, gazing at the sky above.
After a bit I decided that the grass was far to soft and I was getting tired of sitting. I slowly laid on my back and Harry followed, placing his hands behind his head.
"Beautiful", he stated for the second time today.
"Chicago is quite a pretty place", I agreed.
"I wasn't talking about Chicago", he said now facing me. It was dark, but I could still slightly see the refreshing glow in his eyes.
"God don't do that to me", I sighed
"Why not?" He frowned, disappointment now evident in his features.
"Because you're starting to make me like you and we both know the rules", I reminded him.
"Take a break from the rules for a night", he smirked slowly reaching for my hand lacing our fingers together, concentrating his gaze on me.
He was definitely something new, but I needed a little new in my life.
AN: Has the Rarry ship sailed yet or?¿Anyway I know it's just fluff right now but I promise things will go down soon. Feel like this chapter was crap but I hope you're having a good day/night/afternoon/morning/evening.I dunno. Don't forget to vote and comment!
