Diamond POV
"N-nothing happened" I mumbled moving august hand from my face.
"Diamond stop lying tah mah"He whispered grabbing my face gently again. "Who did it?" He asked looking me in my eyes.
"It was kairi dad but I'm okay now I just need to call my mom" I murmured looking up at him giving him a soft smile.
He frowned his eyebrows looking around. I guess he was looking for Dave so I spoke up again. "I ran away from him" I mumbled.
He looked down in my hands and seen kairi who was looking at him weirdly. "Imma beat dat nigga ass on my moms" I heard him mumbled looking away from me gritting his teeth together before looking back down at me. "Come with mah...I'll take yah ta yo moms tomorrow...let me clean you up...deal?" He said softly looking at me rubbing my red swollen cheek softly.
I nodded my head hesitantly because I wasn't sure if I can trust August fully I didn't really know him. I guess he read my mind because he spoke up.
"I ain't gone hurt chu...I ain't da nigga come on" he said grabbing kairi book bag then my hand before he led me to the car opening the passenger door for me to get in.
I stopped him. "Wait I- don't breezy sit here?" I asked looking up at him. August was tall but not tall like Dave he was about 6'1 to my 5'1. He was still pretty tall he was just skinny while Dave was buff.

"Nah he gone wanna get in da back with lisa trust me" he chuckled glancing over a breezy who was making lisa blush and giggle. "AYE! LETS GO" he yelled over to breezy making him look over at us.
Breezy nodded before he grabbed Lisa hand and they walked over to us. "Wassup diamond" breezy said pulling me into a friendly hug. "Hi breezy" I giggled hugging him back before pulling away.
"Alright gone ahead and sit in the front" August said gesturing for me to get inside the car. I adjusted kairi in my hands before getting inside putting my seatbelt on. "You want me to put this down there by your legs or?" August asked.
"Yeah..no...I can h-hold it" I said grabbing the bag from him sitting it in between my legs. He closed the door before he jogged around to the drivers side hopping inside.
Lisa and breezy got in the back but breezy insist on lisa sitting on his lap so she did, he rapped his arms around her waist putting his face in the crook of her neck before leaning back into the seat. "I missed you girl...I tried tah text and call yah but yeen answer I thought yah went ghost on mah" I heard him mumbled into her neck.
