Hero Of Sagoe

Sagoe morning

Chapter 1

       The sun rises, as it cast it lights over the small village of sagoe which was surrounded by mountains..

    The birds sang with their tiny voice, the sleeping village come to life little by little, one could feel the sudden rise of happiness in the little town.

    The town, has been preparing for the sun festival which occurs every two years and this was to be the greatest of them all to some people and not to some people.
  
    The king had made preparation for the feasting and celebration of  the sun festival which was to take place in the Royal hall.
  
    Jason wakes up, strecthing his muscles as he fell down back to the floor in pains from the yesterday beating given to him by some group of gangs, he had been an orphan since age 7 and was raised by his father close friend.

"Jason aren't you going to prepare for the sun festival, you have to be there" Owens said as he slammed the door moving out of the house.

"Been beaten everyday when I step out of this house and he wants me to go to a festival" Jason thought angrily as he stood up from the floor and went to the window where he had a telescope.

  Always having the habit of looking through that window was like a pleasure to him or was it Rita who lived next door.

   Jason smiled as he got ready to step out of the house but not to celebrate a festival with people who hates him but to go down to the forest of "Lidon" .

   He steps out of his little home, with eyes piercing him with filthy looks, people would have started throwing garbage on him but couldn't since it was the sun festival.

"Been loved, been hated such a mystery" Jason thought with a smile.

  He sees Rita and was having a quick fast heartbeat as she was walking towards him smiling and looking sexy in her attire.

"Ok Jason this is your chance here she comes" he said to himself

"Hey Rita" Jason said with a smile as he walked towards her.
    But she didn't answer the greeting neither did she even look at him, she walked passed him like he was a ghost with a filthy stench.
   She walked over to a guy behind Jason engaging him in deep romance kiss as he held her waist.
  
"So much for good morning, what a sagoe morning" Jason said as he continued walking deep in thought for about 5 mins.

    Suddenly, a chariot moved past him but he didn't even notice just kept moving until a long stick hit his already painful back.

"Who the hell are you and you must be mad" Jason spoke angrily lying flat on the floor, he felt a huge hand on his head pulling his brown curly hair up as he faced the chariot.
 

    "The princess just passed and you couldn't bow down" A muscular man said as he held tightly the long stick which had a blade at the other end

"I didn't know am really sorry" Jason pleaded

"Beat him up, he as really lost his respect for traditional rules" The princess said with a smile

"Yes your majesty, this boy here is not a good fellow" A man said while the others supported solidly

"100 lashes" The princess who was same age as him ordered

"Not again" Jason shouted in pains as the stick landed on his back with his hands outstretched to the blue sky
