Don't Leave Me

Chapter 1: The Past

In the beginning, Love was forbidden unless you was king or queen. Not even if you was a princess, you had an arrange marrige and your forced to marry somebody you don't love.

My mother was in love with a shape-shifter. She went days, months, years seeing him, talking to him. And she didn't get caught. That's until she told her sister. And her sister would do anything to get her in trouble to steal her crown.

In was one night after the full moon past, Alexa went towards the dungeon to set her lover free. Going down the long narrow hall, not knowing if anyone was watching her. She started to turning around to run towards her lover, when all of a sudden she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Ekkkkk" Alexa screamed.
"Alexa, what are you doing here?" my sister said has I turned around to look at her.
"Nothing, I was just walking around. I couldn't sleep" I said.
"Lair. Your trying to sent someone free" she said knowing it was true.
"No, I'm not. I'm just fucking walking around . So leave me the fuck alone. Okay, damn" saying getting more anger by the minute.
"Fine, you little whore" she said.
Walking the other way trying to get away from her.
Walking faster to the dungeon, not knowing that my sister was watching my every move.
"My love" Alexa said in glee.
"Alexa" Lee said.
"Hold on my love. I'm getting you out of here"I said softly.
Trying to find the right key in a panic, I realized what I was doing goes against everthing I was.
"Lee, come quickly" I said knowing what I was doing was wrong. Holding his hand tightly near me, we ran together in the woods.
"Alexa, come on. We can't stop. Run" Lee said pulling my hand.
"I can't go with you. I'm sorry Lee. This is my life. I'm a princess. Your a shape-shifter.
We can't live together. We can't love each other.
We can't do nothing together" I said crying.
"Alexa, yes we can. We love each other. Let's go. You don't have to go back to a princess life anymore. Come with me. Leave this life for good. Please. I love you " he said.
"I love you too. But I can't go. Once I leave this palace, Alena becomes princess . And the kingdom would birm to the ground. You run. Get out of here" I said to him.
"But I'm not leaving you alone. I love you" he said has he pressed his lips against mine. "I love you too".

                 "Run.

RUN" shouting at him.
"I'll come back to you. Bye my love" he said has he ran further  in the woods.

Before I could go back to the palace, I felt a sword in my heart.
Breathing in, I knew I was dieing. I knew I was done.
"Sister" I said has I looked up to see my sister above me.
"Sorry my sister. I'm princess now" she said has she started to laugh.
"Wait" I said with the last breath in my body.
"What Alexa " she said turning around.
"I have a daughter. Named Krya. Once she's 13, she'll become princess and then queen. You will never become queen" I said closing my eyes.
"WHAT? NO, I WILL BECOME QUEEN. I WILL" my sister screamed out loud.

But that was 12 years old. And that was my mother.
I'm Krya. My birthday is in 2 days. I never knew my mother. And her sister never told me. All she would say is that she died in battle but she cant because she a princess. And princess aren't allowed to be in battles.
