Y/n had a big smile on his face seeing his best friend from Foshan, Arslan has been a friend of Y/n and his family for years. Arslan ran up to Y/n and Raphtalia and hugged them with an iron grip.

Arslan: "I missed you guys sooooooo much!"

Y/n: "We missed you to Arslan"

Raphtalia: "Can't!....breathe!...."

Arslan quickly let go of them as she awkwardly smiled.

Arslan: "Sorry!"

Y/n: "It's ok Arslan, but anyways what are you doing here in Vale?"

Arslan: "I could ask you the same thing!"

Y/n then stiffened for a minute at his position, he didn't want to tell Arslan about who he works with now. He decided to tell her when she gets to know his peers.

Y/n: "I wanted to open my martial arts school, I wanted to spread the ideology of Jeet Kune Do that Bruce made. Speaking of how's Ip Sifu and Bruce doing?"

Arslan: "Sounds great, I wanted to live in Vale and become a ring fighter and spread the popularity of MMA, Muay Thai and Hung Ga"

(Disclaimer: I don't know Arslan's actual martial arts abilities but I can only guess by her way of fighting, I just added Muay Thai to the list because it's for plot but I was thinking Hung Ga is her fighting style. If I'm wrong please notify me)

Y/n: "I guess we both have similar ideas"

Arslan nodded as she then turned her attention to Raphtalia.

Arslan: "And how's my adorable raccoon been doing?~"

Raphtalia pouted

Raphtalia: "Why do you still call me that!"

Arslan: "Because you are!"

Raphtalia pouted again and looked away, Arslan just hugged her and Raphtalia gave in and hugged her.

Y/n: "Say where are you going to be staying?"

Arslan: "Oh you know an apartment building"

Y/n: "Okay, how about we go with you?"

Arslan: "Okay sure"

Arslan picked up her bags and the three walked in the streets of Vale.

Y/n: "I see that you're still rocking that short hair"

Arslan: "I thought it looked nice..."

Y/n: "It's funny how you stuck with your haircut after that incident back at school"

Raphtalia: "Y/n what are you talking about?"

Arslan: "Oh he didn't tell you? Well let me tell you what happened"

-Flashback-

Arslan was in her school uniform walking out of the school building, Arslan was learning still learning the early stages of Muay Thai from her father and started to share her knowledge by starting a Martial Club. This helped her gain popularity from other people in school, then a British schoolgirl bully comes to harass her.

Bully: "Hey you're that Kung fu girl right?"

Arslan: "It's Muay Thai, Kung fu is from China while my style is from Thailand"

Bully: "Does it matter? I mean we are superior over you so might as well classify you as the same."

Arslan gave her a nasty glare.

Arslan: "Try looking at yourself, you have no virtue or morals. After all didn't you use a drug to take over China? Here's the difference between you and a snake: a snake is deceptive for survival while you pasty bastards do it for greed"
