My Hope (A Pay-Hope Love Story)

Friends

     Throughout the next few weeks Payton talked to Eric and Wang. The three ended up having a lot in common. Payton had a growing suspicion that Wang secretly had a crush on Eric. Payton wasn't happy despite her new friends. She wanted J-Hope to pay attention to her but he was so distant. He would look the other way any time she came to talk to Eric and Wang, he would never sit next to her at lunch, but instead sat by Cady. She was confused, she didn't do anything wrong, did she? No. She couldn't have possibly done anything. Her friends noticed the change and began to question her. She brushed it off and said she was just tired.
     This went on till Thanksgiving break. Payton decided to invite all of her friends to a Thanksgiving, including J-Hope. Everyone showed up and they all sat down in a satanic-like circle. Payton sat down and suprisingly J-hope sat beside her with Eric on her other side. They in groups: Ron and Don taking about manly war shit, Travis trying to also be in Ron and Don's conversation while Cady and Ava try to use him as a sacrifice, Maddie, Izzy, and Adam laughing, Payton trying to stop them, and J-Hope Eric and Wang looking scared in the corner. Payton got her children under control and they decided to play just dance while Travis sat in the corner traumatized. They pulled names out of a hat to see who would go first. It ended up being Ron, Don, Adam, and Travis dancing first to Call Me Maybe. They all tied with 2 stars because they suck. Next up was Cady, Maddie Izzy, and Ava who all got five stars except for Cady who had to stop to like Garrett's post. Last, there was J-hope and Payton who had to dance to the song Troy Bolton and the random girl did a duet with at the beginning of HSM 1. Payton felt her face heat up but couldn't tell if it was because of J-Hope dancing beside her or just being exhausted. They ended, looking into each others eyes and stared. Maddie started laughing. and they looked away embarrassed. Throughout the rest of the night the two talked (flirted) and by the end, Payton didn't feel like J-Hope hated her anymore. It was like the were finally becoming... Friends.
