Temple fall

The Sun has risen
Moon left behind
The once beautiful me
Observed from the side

Confidence turned to fear
When nobody ever thought
What was innocent once, clear
Can turn this much around

A child, oh, so happy
Not knowing about all
That's to come eventually
Might surprise the small

Dreams turn to nightmares
Pinks to the blacks
When did it all happen?
Fear of not having enough, just snacks

You can see the change
But is it really?
What if not
Burdens are heavy

Heavy as the pain
Of one's heart
When the loneliest moments
Tear it apart

Everyone's wrong
Everyone's 땡
How can you know me,
When I don't know who I am?

I tried so hard
To see
What everyone saw
In me

My success?
Or my fail.
My happiness?
Or my vain.

After all
How can I love you?
When not at all
Do I love me

I tried so hard
To see
What everyone saw
In me

Maybe the grades
Maybe behavior
Or the look of when
I had no savior

Who can save me
If not myself
Who can teach me
If not -

Solitude
Not to sound rude
Is stupid
No one's alone

There's always someone
Standing there
Watching you
Slowly doom

Why do they only watch?
And not do anything?
Is it guilt?
Or me?

I tried so hard
To see
What everyone saw
When they looked at me

A mess
A temple falling apart
Why haven't I protected
What God has worked on so hard

There are only limited things
One can do alone
But loving myself
Was not an option at all

What they saw
A wandering soul
Through life trying to crawl

The once beautiful temple
Has fallen apart
I should say I'm sorry
But really I'm not

This is the farewell
From someone who has
Tried so hard to adapt
To a world where they

Where they tried
But failed
To survive
But paid

The price it cost
To be happy
Whatever it was
