Ah,the first day of high school. I never wanted this day to came- to be honest I didn't even think I could possibly make it this far but here we are. I'm a nervous wreck. I couldn't even sleep last night, I stayed up rolling around worrying. Worrying about stuff that probably won't even happen. There was a hard knock on my bedroom door. "Let's go El," A voice said. "I don't want to be late because of you." It was Shawn, my older brother. Don't get me started on him. I picked up my backpack. "Elenor!" Shawn said loudly through the door. I walked over to the door and opened it. "It's El,"I said straight to his face. "not Elenor." Shawn grabbed my face. "You're whatever I say you are, Elenor." "Alright rat!" I said pushing him away. Shawn may scare every guy at school, but I'm his sister, so I get used to it. I walked outside. Our parents work all day so Shawn has to drive us to school. I sat down in the passenger seat and Shawn sat in the drivers side. Shawn started the car and put in his old "New Kids On The Block" CD. He worships that thing. It's actually not that bad, but I wish he would let me listen to my music for a change. Shawn smiled as he backed out of the driveway. He's gonna enjoy torturing me until he graduates, if he even graduates. Shawn's always doing anything but his his school work. The exact opposite for me. I guess you could say we got an unequal split of qualities. Shawn got the looks, I got the smarts. I could see the high school getting closer and closer. I'm not ready for this. Shawn pulled into the parking lot. "Welcome to hell," He said getting out of the car. "well, at least for you." It's going to be a long day.
