Time skip, 6 months

ᴄᴏʟᴇ'ꜱ ᴘᴏᴠ

All I could hear were my heavy footsteps and faint sirens whilst I was running away from the cops.

They busted me for a home invasion because the idiot who owed us money for the drugs he bought had security alarms that call the police as soon as they're triggered. I had a gun on me, and I knew that I was going to get caught wether I liked it or not, so I hid in a dark alley, took my phone out and dialed Maria's number as fast as possible, it only rand twice before she picked up and I heard her sweet but frantic voice

"COLE?! BABY WHERE ARE YOU?! ARE YOU OKAY?! LET ME GO FOR YOU!" she said, but I just stayed quiet whilst my eyes watered up

"M-maria, baby. They caught me. I'm busted, I'm going in for about five years, three being the least, but I doubt it because I ran. I just want you to know that I love you and our babies with everything I have. I'm so sorry for being selfish and taking this job on when I could've easily had one of the guys do it, I wasn't thinking about you or our baby. I'm sorry" I said and sobbed a bit

"Cole, I love you too. Please promise me you'll call me and you'll tell me when you have court and when you can have visitations" she said, in a voice so heartbreaking. I could hear the pain in her voice, and I felt horrible. I'm not going to be there for my baby when she has out first child

"I love you Cole, so damn much" she said

"I promise I'll tell you, I love you too pumpkin" I said

"Is Mason there?" I asked, listening to the sirens as they inches closer every second

"Yeah, here. Talk to him" she said handing him the phone

"Cole, you should've let me go man. You couldv-" I cut him off

"Mason shut up, what's done is done. I need you to be my best friend and promise me you'll take care of her and our baby while I'm gone. Make sure her and the babies are out if danger, try and bribe her into making our baby boy either Mason or Keegan because I have so much damn respect for you guys and our baby girl, it doesn't matter. Please visit me man. I love you bro, thanks for everything" I said and sighed

"Yeah, no problem bro. I'ma miss you" he said and sniffled

"I'ma miss you too. Pass me Maria" I said, and right when I heard her say

"Hello?"

All of the cops we're surrounding me.

"I love you" I said

"COLE!" She yelled through the phone

Maria's POV

All I heard we're sirens, loud sirens. I yelled Cole's name after he told me he lived me and all I heard was

"FREEZE, DROP THE PHONE AND PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR" and a loud bang, which I'm guessing was his phone dripping on the floor. The phone then disconnected and I cried, Mason came and hugged me tightly

"Shhh, it's okay muffin. He's not leaving for forever." Mason said and rubbed my back

"I-i k-know, but i-t hu-urts" I cried into his chest

"I-its not fa-a-air!" I cried out once again, he just held me tighter and rubbed my back

"C'mon, you can go lay down in my room tonight. You can borrow some clothes of mine if you want and I'll buy you every snack you want" he said, I just nodded my head and walked to his room, grabbed some clothes and changed into them whilst he was explaining what happened with Cole to the guys. I opened my phone and went on my Snapchat memories, I clicked on one of the MANY videos of Cole and I and started watching it, I felt tears prickling at the corner at my eyes so I just decided to let the tears fall whilst I kept watching, I smiled to myself when I came across a picture of cole doing a funny face in the mirror
