Fire at the Mathigan mansion

Last night at 8 pm firefighters were called to the residence of Pop star David Slasher real name Mathew Matigan. Reports say several persons were rescued from the once lavish mansion, including  the Slasher himself. Among those rescued is Sophia  Jadoogar, this comes right alongside her family's controversy.
Her sister still remains missing and the company she headed will be passed to Sophia within the week.
Our financial analyst  Robert Townsend  confirms this means in the next week, Sophia, who is currently worth $15 million will become the youngest billionaire in the world. She stands to inherit a whopping 58 billion dollar company. That same  night her family reported her missing then by 6 am they reported to police that she was found.  Yet she was at the house of her sister's alleged would-be kidnapper.
More reports surfaced early this morning showing that there was a secret party that got out of hand ,when a party guest lit one of the Slashers ornate cloaks on fire, running through the second floor of house . As the flames engulfed himself and his surroundings trapping partygoers .
A total of 38 individuals were rescued with a reported 8 still unaccounted for.

Sophia slams the paper unto the table startling her pet poodle Ralph , his ears flattening against his head as he backs away.
Her anger boils
She looks to her brother James  who handed her the paper
Sophia - this can't be real
James - its there isn't it. The reports say you were there. That's where you went when we were all here worried about you? You went to see that monster who probably murdered our sister . you have no idea...
Sophia cutting him off- I went to dad's grave. you can look at the cameras I never left the estate .
James' eyes widen , he takes a step back in shock
Sophia- I'm not as bad as you all seem to think
She turns and walks to her room , closing her door behind her quietly. Walking to her bed she picks up her journal

JOURNAL ENTRY
Now I'm sure something is going on. Last night I left the house and somehow the tabloids have it that I went to David's house for a secret party . all I did was visit dad since I have noone . everyone thinks I'm evil and that I have something to do with Leah. I thought I was going crazy seeing all these strange things but this just confirms there's more here to this. I just don't know what.

A knock on her door stops her writing , she quickly closes the book putting it under her pillow as the door opens. Her brother looks at her with sad eyes and walks to sit next to her .
James- I'm sorry
Sophia- it's ok. Checked the cameras?
James- yeah
He turns away and lowers his head then looks back at her
James- but I also copied the footage and sent it to the cops. Bobby said they were at the main gates wanting to ask you some questions.
Sophia - I don't want to talk to them anymore they don't  believe me neither do you.
Her eyes never leaving his as she speaks, he takes a deep breath and breaks the eye contact.
James- I do believe you , you say you don't know so you don't know
He gets up and walks to the window ,looking out at the shimmering blue lake he smiles then looks at his half sisters face.
James - mom wants you downstairs for dinner in 20 minutes . Payton is here with more papers for you to sign too.
Sophia- dont change the subject . come with me to look in the woods. Please, we might find something they missed.
James- you said you don't know anything so why do you keeping wanting to go to the woods?
Sophia's brows furrow as she thinks of what to say.
James- I won't go unless i know why
Sophia- I had a dream she  was there in between the trees
James- thats stupid Soph it's just a dream.
Sophia- I know!! +Anger surfacing in her voice+ I just want to look it can't hurt .
