Life is like a masquerade ball,
Where every individual is disguised into someone they are not.
What appears to the eye is all appealing and good.
But who has seen the true being behind that fake facade being portrayed?
Yet we trust the illusion our eyes perceive.
For how would we comfort our delusional heart otherwise?
Majority of us believe in what we see,
And prefer going with the flow.
But there are a few obstinate and brave souls who look deep inside.
And carry on their venture for truth.
They manage to pass through the travesty,
And see the vulnerable side of you.
And by this effort of theirs you comprehend their love for you.
So look deep inside.
Stop judging by the externals.
Carry on your quest for truth.
For life is an illusion.
It is a masquerade party.
