A/N's POV
Aidan arrives and parks his car outside. He gets out and runs to the door.
"what the fuck" he whispers to himself, "why the fuck is the door opened-"
He walks in.
"Babe?" he says loud enough. "y/n? Where are you?"
He starts to get concerned. He walks upstairs and opens the door.
"Babe, I'm here-"
He sees you on the floor, with blood all over, unconscious.
He runs to you, and falls on his knees, shaking you and trying to wake you up.
"Babe what happened! Don't leave me!" he cries out.
*fast-forward*
You're now at the hospital. Aidan is sitting on a chair, next to you, waiting for you to wake up.
"Y/n... Please wake up."
10 minutes later, you finally wake up.
"Babe! You're finally awake! Are you ok?" he says, concerned.
"Aidan-"
"I'll call the doctor!" he runs calling someone.
*fast-forward*
You're out of the hospital now after they checked you up and you're all fine. Aidan drives you home.
While in the car ride, Aidan thought about asking you what happened back home.
He looks over to you and sighs, "So may I know what happened back there?"
"I don't want to talk about it." you say.
"why not? I'm here for you. I'm your man. Like, of course, I know it's hard for you to tell me maybe right now but sooner or later you're going to have to say something."
No reply.
This made him feel as if you don't trust him. The rest of this car ride was just awkward.
You all are now at your house. He takes you inside like a real gentlemen trying to figure out what happened.
You go upstairs into your room and he follows you.
"y/n.. Look, I'm really concerned for you. And I really want to know what occurred."
You turn around, "Aidan. I don't want to tell you. I don't want you to worry. I'm fine!"
"No. Nothings fine if I found you bleeding all over!"
"Well, maybe I just don't want you to worry!"
"I do worry!"
"Why, Aidan?!"
"Because I love you!"
There's a long silence.
He comes closer. "Y/n, i love you just please tell me."
"I," you pause, "I need a moment."
"don't you trust me?"
"yes Aidan, I do but- it's a lot for me to handle right now. I'll tell you when I'm sure I'm fine."
"ok.."
"look at it this way. you don't have to be so overprotective."
"of course I'm overprotective! I love you and I care for you!"
Silence again.
You just walk downstairs to the kitchen to get a glass of water. While you're downstairs, Aidan goes near the window, near your desk. He sees a letter.
He grabs it and opens it. It says:

Y/n, I'm sorry I had to knock you out. I love you. I just want you to get away from your boyfriend. I know I came to your house with a mask, yes. But I had to. And if I ever see him again, I will fucking step on him.
From, unknown.

He takes the letter. 'huh so that's what happened.' he thinks to himself.
He goes downstairs. "y/n.. I'm sorry for our little argument. but Ive been called to go somewhere. It's an emergency."
"I'll come with you."
"no, it's not safe. I'll be back." he runs out, and leaves you there confused.
Little do you know, he's trying to find this criminal and wanting to prove how much he loves you.
