(The story tends to switch POV / Point of View very often, so try to remember who is narrating)
Foxy's POV
Finally. It's over.
Another year of school is gone, and another one is arriving; much quicker than I'd like, at that. Oh well, the world is never perfect.
As the school year ended, my family and my friends' families have decided to take us to Cali for a fresh start, or hopefully more 'opportunities' as my mother said. My mother; she's lovely.
My mom is amazing. She spends time with us, works hard and lets me do pretty much what I want. Dad's mostly the same, just works a little more often. They wouldn't leave us if a bomb dropped on our heads.
Oh yes, I said us.
My little sister, Layla lives with me too. She's got her neat rose hair, and her soothing, calm voice. What a sweetheart she is; always happy and peaceful, and willing to try new things (within reason of course). She loves to dance and sing, but other than that, she's just an average 8 year old girl.
We moved from Florida after I left my last school for good. And for good, I mean moving from a middle school to a high school. Al least I'm not alone in it though. My friends and their family all moved with us, since we've been with each other since our 2nd birthdays.
God it's been years!
And lemme tell you, I have some interesting friends...Freddy is a bold guy, who cares more about his friends than anything. He's a strong leader, he's kind and fair, but will not hesitate to beat somebody's head in. He tends to like sport, and he's looking to create a business.
The girl of our friendship group, Chica is sweet and subtle to most people. She tends to ignore the idiotic people, including the flat-out dickheads. She has a passion for acting, because of how good she is at it. Not because she's a total drama-queen, don't worry. She's different than other girls I've met.
Then there's Bonnie. Oh boy he's a handful. He's nerdy in two ways. Bonnie likes to game but work hard. I believe he's taking on A-Level music, too. He carries a guitar almost everywhere with him, and I swear he lives for it. At least he can play it well, or I wouldn't have eardrums.
That about wraps it up for them. They have their own family, hobbies, you get the point.
Bonnie has a car though...
And I want that BMW so badly!Foxy's New Home
~11:00AMWell I've been in our new home for two seconds, and I already love it.
Our new house that we bought already looks way more polished and smooth. It looked a little too 'grand' for a guy like me though. But hey, I'm not complaining...The walls are all freshly painted in white, with lush wooden floors and some beautiful carpets along it. Every nook and cranny is polished, clean... It's just all perfect.
I began to lug my stuff up towards the hall, which was unsurprisingly difficult with a suitcase like mine. My mom chose the room to the left of the stairs for me, and when I opened, I realised how good of a choice my mom made. It looked fairly big, with the walls painted a darker shade of red. The window even had a nice view of the lake opposite our house!
This was Home alright!
After a few hours, we were all fully settled in. Layla and I helped with Dad's room for when he's back from work at 4pm. I kept Layla busy with her doll house, and I sorted out my room myself. Moving homes was actually less boring than I imagined it to be.
I could hear knocking outside, at the front door. As I answered it, I was greeted with 3 nut cases from my old school.
"Heya, Foxy! Looks like you got a good place set up!" said Chica. Her widened eyes said it all really.
Behind her Bonnie giggled a bit.
"Classic Chica. Stunned by the simplest things."
"Well, I had the same reaction. Come on in!" I replied, insisting that they come look around. "It's a lovely place, and with an equally good family, too."Upon entering our living room, they saw the rich paintings and furniture scattered around. The couch in particular was gorgeous, it felt softer than... well, anything.
"Hey, Foxy. You excited to join our new school?" Freddy asked me. Excited? Yeah, a bit. Willing......No...
"I'm not too sure. It's a mix between yes and no." I say.
Bonnie smiled. "Like most of us, then." He laughed to himself. He knows how to get a chuckle out of me, no matter where or when. It's a shame school can be boring on occasion, cuz the teachers aren't normally that bad. It's just the lessons themselves. Especially Maths.Come on, I used to hate Science but because of Maths, it's interesting now.
We grabbed ourselves some snacks before they went back to their respective homes. Damn, this really could be a fresh start.
That is if I don't miss any homework this time.
I don't wanna be serving detentions again...I lied on my bed, think about what could actually happen because of this move. As long as I've got my friends, nothing too bad. Without them would be a different story in itself.
The day continues fairly quickly, and I was asleep before I knew it. I just hope this whole 'high school' thing goes to plan. Because otherwise, this year is gonna be a mess...
...like most things.

You already know that I'm gonna carry this on! I actually have an idea to make things interesting.
Either way, I've gotta write the next part now!
