Chapter 2: What else is he?

Being a familiar makes it easier to make it than being human. I mean for one marauders are terrified of Mastiffs the size of bears. It proved itself helpful when Paul couldn't change and a thug had a knife to his Adams apple. Kaleb just kind of does his own thing. I mean don't get me wrong, were friends of course, but he just seems off at times. Guess I over think things though. But it is weird hes the only person I cant read. I know everything about Paul. Mainly because I've been inside hes head one to many times. Familiar isn't the only thing in my parents genes. Apparently my ancestors are also Satori, which has its ups and downs. But since my dad didn't have the gene it obviously skips a generation, which also explains why I cant always read someone. 

But Kaleb, its been SIX YEARS and I've never been able to read him. It kind of makes me wonder what else he has in him besides shifter.
