Chapter 25

⋆⋅Hoseok⋅⋆

I have to admit that Kate's house is actually closer than I expected since we have already arrived and she is opening the door.

"You have a very beautiful house, Kate." Taehyung says as soon as we enter and I can't help but notice the black sofa in the middle of the room, with a white fur blanket covering half of it, and underneath, a carpet with a dazzling pattern that matches the pillows of red tones.

"Thanks!" The black-haired girl smiles warmly. "Get yourself comfortable, we'll be by ourselves until late afternoon."

Kate puts her suitcase in a corner of the room and we all ended up following her example. Then we sit on the sofa, on the puff and others prefer to sit on the floor, over the rug.

"What are we supposed to do?" Yoongi questions when sitting down. On the way here we have not reached any conclusion on how we will spend the rest of the morning.

"I don't know, it depends on the hours..."

"It's almost 9:30." Kate answers. "Are you guys hungry?"

"Not much, but we can cook something to eat later." Jin shrugs. "If you don't mind, Kate."

"Obviously I don't care! I love to cook. What kind of food do you want?" The black-eyed one gets up excitedly from the sofa.

"How about we all go to the kitchen and decide what we're going to do there?" Namjoon proposes while getting up.

"Great." We all go after Kate, to the kitchen, and decide to make something simple to eat, denying Jin's requests to do something big. Maybe one day later we'll have a big lunch or dinner.

"Kate, can I talk to you?" The tone of the girl with dark brown hair is a little strange.

"Yes, Emma. What is it?" Everyone focuses their attention on the two friends.

"I wanted to apologize to you." Kate looks confused when she hears these words, but Emma continues. "I'm sorry I gave Namjoon your number when you barely knew him. I've been thinking about this for the past four days and my mind wouldn't let it go until I said this." The black-haired one is hugged by her and I look at my friends to try to see if they know anything that is escaping me here.

"It's all right." Kate frees herself from the hug. "I shouldn't have answered you the way I did."

"What do you think happened?" I look to the side and see Yoongi staring at me, waiting for an answer.

"I don't know, but they seem to be better... They can talk about things without any problem." I say discreetly.

"Perhaps." The blond-haired boy looks at them unnoticed. "At least they've already made up, I think."

"It may have been the first step towards improving their friendship."

"Boys, help here." Lizzie gives us some ingredients and instructions on what to do.

Half an hour passed until we finished cooking, it took longer than necessary due to the ramblings we were doing. Everyone had helped, even Namjoon and Taehyung who have no ability to cooking. It was funny to see them totally disoriented by the instructions that Jin gave them. The atmosphere was very pleasant, everyone was in a very good mood and I couldn't help but notice certain couples that were gradually forming. Like, for example, Emma and Taehyung, since the past two weeks they've been getting closer and closer and I personally think my friend is really interested in her.

"Guys, what are you doing there?" Kate, after we all return to the living room, calls Jungkook and Emily who, for some reason, are still in the kitchen. "Come and join us."
