December 31st -2:35 pm-
[Jake's House]

Jake ☁️

"Faster Jake! Faster!" Albert yells.
"I'm trying!" I yell back.
"Go hard!"
"Nonono- I'm stuck..." I sigh.
"Jake- WE'RE GONNA LOSE!"
Bang Bang! Two gunshots and our chances of getting that victory royale fell back down to zero.
Albert hits his computer desk and screams in a high pitch.

We had two split screens, one with our FaceTime call and another with Roblox.
We sat there for a second in shame and silence.
But then just laughed it off together
"You screamed like a girl dude!" I fall to the floor laughing.

"You should've seen the look on your face Jake!" Albert chuckles.
That's one thing I like about Albert, he can always find the biggest fails to be the funniest stories and we could just laugh it off together.

Albert's dog, Peach, pushes the door halfway open and trots in.
"Hey Peachy!" Albert crouches out of his chair for a second and picks her up, sitting back down.
"Aww." My heart was practically melting at the sight of peach sticking her little tongue out.

"So, are you excited for tomorrow?" I ask.
"Eh, kinda nervous. I've never actually talked to any of those people in person or on FaceTime." He says as he pets Peach.
"I've talked to Ethan, he's pretty cool, but that's about it." I shrug.
"We were thinking the first day we all go out to eat, but for the rest of the time we order pizza and call it a day."
"Sounds like a plan." Said Albert.
I eyed my FaceTime time.
5 hours 34 minutes and 5 seconds.

I see him check his watch.
2:41.
"Hey well, I've gotta go to the gym then film and edit two videos later so I won't be able to call for the rest of the day."
He said.
"Okay, but also can you remind me at like 12:00 when I'm at the airport to go grab a quick bite to eat, or else I'll starve on the plane." I said.
"Yeah and can you remind me to pack my laptop?" He asks.
"For sure."
"Thanks bye loser." He waves at the camera.
"Alright, cya in Texas." I wink.

Albert 💫

I stood up and stretched.
I then headed for my gym bag and packed a tank top, shorts and AirPods.
But the fun way.
Since Kirsten was downstairs chilling I closed my eyes and levitated my gym bag back up from the ground.
I open my eyes and aim my hand towards my closet bringing out the tank top and shorts.
I then narrowed my eyes over to my AirPods and lifted them up.

I sent everything to my gym bag.
It's honestly really fun doing this, and I might as well enjoy it while I still can.
I never actually asked Jake how long we were staying but he told me to pack A LOT so I think we're in for a long time.
I heard fast footsteps coming from the hallway.
I quickly closed my eyes again and everything dropped to the floor.

The door opens and Rocky, our other dog, pops his head out.
I exhaled in relief and put my hand to my heart.
"You scared me Rock." I smile.
I closed the door and Rocky propped himself up on my bed sitting there waiting for me to play with him.
"Okay fine, but after this I have to pack."
He sticks his tongue out.
"Ready Rock?" I ask closing my eyes.
I made one of his squirrel toys levitate.
His ears popped up and his tail wagged.

He ran around the room and chased the toy that looked as if it was running.
I spun myself in a circle trying to keep up with Rocky's movements so he wouldn't get the toy.
I spun myself dizzy after about a minute so I decided to stop and let him have it.
I giggled to myself and floated it up to the bed as Rocky jumps up and captures it.
As I finished packing up, I was ready to go.
I lift the bag over my shoulder, petting rocky and heading out.

Third Person ☁️💫

Jake got bored again 40 minutes later and picked up his phone ready to call Albert.
"so I won't be able to call for the rest of the day."
The thought of Albert's words stung in Jake's mind.
He really wanted to call Albert, because Albert was really the only person to really entertain him.
He let out a sigh and opened up Roblox.
I might as well make a Roblox video too.
He thought.

"46...47...48...49...50!" Albert finish his last set of weights.
He wipes the sweat off of his forehead and takes a few breaths before walking over and grabbing a towel, wrapping it around his neck.
He was just about to leave the gym carefree when he just had to turn around and check to see if he left something.

In that instance he regretted every decision.
Lana and her new boyfriend.
They stood, the guy flexing his muscles and Lana practically glued to them.
He seemed to have caught their attention too because as soon as he tried to leave the guy shouted, "HEY."

Albert turned around, his heart beating mildly fast.
Compared to Lana this guy was huge.
"Are you her ex boyfriend? The one who makes those stupid 'Roblox' videos- with that really eery high pitched voice?" He walks up to me all slow and tough.
Albert found himself looking up at his face, he was tall and intimidating.
"Yeah?" Albert raises an eyebrow at the word stupid.

"So you break up with her then find a new girl huh? A heartbreaker?" He asks.
"No I..."
"You know... I've been looking for you." He cracks his knuckles and smirks.
"I'm sorry, I really have to go-"
"Hold on one second petty boy!"
"Let's finish this." He looks up and down at Albert, judging every inch he stands on.

"Look there's really no reason to fight dude I-" Albert starts.
"I've been waitin' to snap your head back for a long time." Said the guy.
"Look I'm just gonna go." Albert says as he puts his hands up in defense.
"Why I oughta..." The guy raises his fist.
Lana grabs his arm and looks up at him.
"Leave him alone-" Just as she tried to pull him back he yanked his arm out of her grip.
"Not until I'm finished with him." His knuckles crack into fists.
Albert froze there.
No one else was at the gym but them, he had no back up and he wasn't too good at self defense.
