"It takes a great deal of courage to see the world in all its tainted glory, and still love it."— Oscar Wilde

Jovial moments, sturdy affinity, invaluable love, and a complete family. A castle of gold with flying horses around, and a prince charming waiting to escort her down. If only she can forever live in a dream liked terra firma, where her sovereignty is blessed by the brightest smile of sunlight, showered by the moon night lit of stars, and the proud Luna. Safeguarded by the mighty warriors to ensure her safe comfort. But sadly her world of fun vanished into the thin air, as a tremendous storm came her way.

Charity was an ebullient youngster. She plasters a sweet smile to anyone, had a buoyant spirit and a faithful character, brave and charming. Like a saccharine innocent child she believes that she can conquer every obstacle with unyielding valor and conviction--- as long as she has her loving parents and friends by her side. Living wage inside her own bubble of happy and blissful life.

At the same time as she was taking an amble walk in the mansion's backyard, crammed with lustrous flowers and the whiff of the ambrosial atmosphere, she could not help but wonder why her heart was racing even though she did not perform any substantial bustle. Her anxiousness was in the air and her nervousness grew even higher. Just as she was getting endorsed in her own thought, an informant came running to her way. Uttering the words that broke her whole being and crumpling it even more to the ground.

Charity wore a ghastly expression as she ran quickly inside the fancy mansion. She was wedged rotten sentinel when she heard the news, striking her more with the dreadful certainty. She could not manage to take another step forward- as though her feet were glued to the floor. Her eyes void of any emotion but sorrow and sadness. Warm tears flowing down her cheeks. Her face reflecting nothing but horror and fear.

The inspiration of having a contented life through the end was nowhere to be found. As she saw her parents bloody body being carried out of their disfigured car. Her heart was like being crashed by a hand, her breathing hitch. Charity wasted no time to get to the hospital. Praying for her parents to be okay as she's on her way towards their room.

Her knees wobbled and she felt as if she was going to faint as she entered her parents room. She went to their side grasping their hand tightly never wanting to let go. Thinking that she might never have the chance again—it frightened her terribly. She watched closely as her parents open their eyes. Saying the words " I love you" for the last time. She wept louder for she saw them smile before taking their last breath.

Hours, days, weeks, months passed by but the doleful memory of her parents death is still carved in Charity's mind. The image of her parents accident hunted her in her sleeps. Purposelessness was etched on the young lady's face as she sited in her bed, staring at the blank wall. Memories of the old plays like a recorded video in her mind.

All the laughters that they shared as they played together under the blue skies. All the movies they watched, strolled at the malls, the stories of bed time and even all the lesson they thought her, if she had done something bad. As she savoured the bewitching moments, she did not take notice of the hot tears falling in her blanket. Charity cried as she refused to let go and accepted the fact that her loving parents were gone.

After the horrendous incident, the young lady went into a drastic change. The once cheerful and docile child turned out to be the worst. Her sweet smile ceasts to exist.. And her eyes only portray a gloomy world. Unlike in fairytales the sun does not shine after the rain. The joyous atmosphere was no more. The flowers that bloom around the manse withered. The songs were gone silent. Destroyed was the mansion that was once blissful and grand.

Charity grew percepting the world in black and white. Asking the wind that traversed the sea. "Until when will this pain go on?" Peeking out in the window of her room, Charity saw the smiles and hears the laughter of the other villagers. She once again enhaled the sweet smell of happiness-- the one that she thought she had forgotten.

Realization dawned to her at that time. All living things will eventually be gone for they have just borrowed from God, the time that they are indulging today. So why did she engulf herself in the dark. Her parents death was not the end of her life. She was sure that, what they want for her is to keep living with a smile sealed on her face even though it is hard. To keep going forward. With that, Charity wiped her tears and held her chin up. Showing the world that she will keep standing, no matter how many times they put her down.
