In English we have five vowels a e i o and u and if you remember the song from kindergarten sometimes y but in Korean they have lots of vowels and lots of them basically make the same sound and some make no sound besides when they want to fuck with your mind

( My favorite songs are ddaeng (땡) and cypher pt4 because I'm a sucker for bts'  rap line (imma multi Stan tho))

The reason I'm doing this is because I know on most apps they start you off with words or just give you a bunch of Hangul and not tell you what each one means and you have to guess and that kind of pissed me off. (I learned on Duolingo and let's just say I was very mad 😂)

One thing I have to say before we start is that at first you should focus on the sounds each character can make and say them out loud and then focus on reading. I'm not going to lie it gets pretty annoying because you feel like you're back in kindergarten not knowing how to read like you know when you  stayed at home cuz you're pretending to be sick and you just watching the news with your parent or guardian and you're just looking at the TV and all those words go by so fast and the only things you can pick out was "I","and"or "that" but it feels like you're going back to day one in Reading (I got pretty pissed because I'm usually a very fast reader)

Ok I know you came here for a lesson not a autobiography.
(By the way cover picture is a webtoon "idiots don't catch colds")

Here are a few simple ones

ㅣis i.
ㅏ is a.
ㅔis e.
ㅜ is u.
