Early morning in heaven:

As soon as they weren't watching, Cas snucked into the room and ran to one of the monitors. His eyes searched and searched, until he finally found it.

Of course he wasn't sleeping. No angel sleeps, but they are watching them. It's their task. God himself demanded, that the older angels should watch their younger siblings. At least, until their out of angel school. But at least, he got a little bit of free time for now.

He knew, that he was young and that he still had a lot to learn, but when he watched the humans on the monitors, he felt so old. Their lifes were so short, but so meaningful, compared to his own. Castiel knew, that he wasn't allowed in this room, but it was still one of his favorite places. He could stand there for hours and watch the humans on the monitors. And what he liked the most, was watching the teenagers in highschool.

Suddenly the door opened and Castiel could hear footseps behind him. He froze. If anyone finds out, that he was here, he would be in trouble.

"What are ya doin' here, bucko?"

As Castiel heard his voice, he calmed down immediately and turned around. Most of his older siblings were strict and followed daddys rules without questioning them, but Gabriel wasn't like them.

"I see. You snucked in here to watch them once again. Anything interesting happening?"

The younger angel looked at him. He didn't knew what to say, but he shook his head.

"It's okay", Gabriel said. "I like watching them too."

A little smirk appeared on Castiels lips. "I know that. You don't have to tell me. Do you want to watch them together? I still have a bit time until school starts."

The archangel nodded. Even when he's one of the most powerful creatures of heaven, it could be so fun to spend time with him. But sometimes he could be strict too. Still he was a joy to be around, not like Michael or Raphael. A lot of angels don't like to be near them. Maybe they fear to do something wrong in their presence and they'll report it to father.
Gabriel stopped beside him and looked at one of the monitors. "Who are these guys?", he asked.

Castiel looked quickly at the same monitor as his big brother.

"Never saw them before. They seem to be new."

The monitor showed a black car, that was parking in front of a highschool, the highschool that Castiel always watched. Two doors opened and two boys stepped out of the car. One seemed to be a few years older than the other. He had dark, blonde hair and his eyes reminded him of a forest he once saw.

Castiel blushed suddenly. Then he looked at the younger boy.

He had darker hair that was gently falling into his face. The two of them were probably related. Something about them seemed different but the angel couldn't tell what.

Gabriel chuckled quietly. "You're blushing, bucko. I didn't knew you were into humans now."

"I am not", Castiel said, even tough his cheeks were telling another story.

A few silent minutes passed, while they were watching them. Meanwhile the chevrolet drove off, after an adult man handed a box to the older boy. Castiel wondered what was inside that box, but he assmumed that it wasn't something important, so he forgot about it.
"I have to go now", he said. "I don't want to be late for class." He wanted to leave the monitor room, but he couldn't hold back, to turn around one last time, to take a glance at the boy with these wonderful green eyes.
