Chapter VI: Falling star

SK was walking towards Carter room trying to figure out how to break up with her nicely, but he couldn't believe that what he is about to do could hurt the team in a big way.

He got to Carter room and stopped right in front of the door and was about to knock when he turned around to see someone laying on the wall smiling. 

"May i ask what your doing here Camilla?" 

"Oh just listening i was originally going to go to the garden. Where are you going?"

"Here."

"Whats here?"

"Camilla just leave! I'll talk to you later about this." He said out loud as Camilla just got up and left the area in a rush. SK knocked on Carter's door and walked in there. It was only Carter and SK in the room, SK looks at her with a small smile on his face then he grabbed her hand softly as he looked at her.

Carter looks at SK with a nervous look on her face but starting talking out loud, "Austin I know we haven't been talking lately but the reason is I wanted to give you this" Carter says to him as she give him the box, SK was looking at the box as he opened it quickly to find his Skull mask from long time ago staring at him in the box.

SK grabs the skull mask from the box as he looks at it with no emotion on his face, "Umm did I do something wrong because I asked Neo if..." 

Carter stopped talking as she saw SK had a couple of tears in his eyes.

SK looks at Carter with a smile on his face then he began to talk out loud, " it's the best thing you ever give to me Carter" SK says as he hugged Carter tightly.

After that whole thing happened SK kissed Carter on the lips as he left the room with the skull mask in hand, he thought that Carter didn't love him anymore but he was wrong about that.

As he was walking back to his room SK was smiling to himself as he looks at the skull mask in his hands as he looked at it and the memories came rushing back to him.

[ The Past]

Austin was training with some of the skeletons showing them how he can handle things, as Crossbones was watching his son fight the soldiers with passion then Neo walked up to Crossbones as he stood next to the tall big guy. 

"So Crossbones are you sure he is ready to lead a team?" Neo says to him as Crossbones looks back at him with growl, 

"My son is ready Neo. he would have you there to help him" Crossbones said to Neo as he bowed down to him and left Crossbones standing there watching his son train.

[ the present ]

SK looks down at the mask with confusion that wasn't his memory at all he had questions but shook it off as he walked to find Neo.

Neo was working on K helping her with her body so she can move around at will SK walked over to him with the mask in hand, "

Neo how the hell did I saw a memory of you and my dad talking about the old team!" SK says to Neo as he stopped what he was doing as he began to talk out loud.

"Austin reason why you saw that memory because I wanted you to see it" Neo says to him as he turns around from his chair, but SK wasn't having it at all

 "Why Neo there is not point in that at all" SK says to him but Neo laughed softly as he began to work on K again and continued what he was saying before, 

"You see this team needs you more then ever trust me I know it Austin" Neo says as SK smiled to himself as he left Neo to do his work.

SK looks at the Skull mask one more time before he put it on a picture fall out of the mask so he picked up the picture seeing his old team picture with everyone with a smile on their faces, SK smiled to himself as he saw him and a girl together in the picture.

The girl in the picture had red brown hair with brown eyes SK put his hand on the picture with a smile on his face, "miss you Ashley" SK says to himself as he put the picture back inside of the skull mask then he put the mask on his face.

SK looks at the mirror as he saw his eye, glowing bright red, staring back at him...
