"Ah, Jenn Novell, am I correct?" Asked the King of Amestris. Bradley. He had visited my hospital room upon hearing the news.. a girl had lost both her legs in a Alchemical accident.. But did he know the truth? why she did it? The taboo?
"Y-Yes, sir." i mumbled, slightly bowing my head. The taller male had brought me a basket of fruits. He set them on the table beside my bed.
"How are you feeling, young one?"
"A little better.. My head no longer hurts so I guess that is a good sign, right?"
"I suppose so!" Bradley pulled up a chair beside my bed and took a seat. The look in his eye slightly changing. "I have a proposition for you, Jenn. It's been a long time since I've seen an Ice Alchemist. I am sure you could but it to good use by joining the Military as a State Alchemist.. What do you say?"
"...! Sir? Are you sure..? How? My legs are.."
"I know someone who can help with that, don't you worry. You'll be back on your feet in no time!"
I fell quiet for a moment before nodding my head. Making my decision. "Alright... I'll join the military and put my alchemy to good use."
"Glad to hear it! I hope to hear form you once you are well. I do hope you feel better, Jenn." And with that, King Bradley made his leave. Gently shutting the door behind him. I lowered my head and sighed..
"Norman.."

A few years had passed.. and I recovered fully. except my legs.. of course.
"Hey, you ready to head back to Central?" Asked the blonde male whom stood beside her with a smile. This is Edward Elric. The one Bradley had sent to help be get fitted with automail.
"Are you sure you're alright now, Jenn?" Came a smaller voice. A full suit of armor had approached me from behind. This is Alphonse Elric. Ed's younger brother. the three of us are the same. We attempted the taboo.
"Yeah! I'm ready. Let's head out before it gets dark!"
