"Hi. Can I buy you a drink?"
Namjoon smiles, lifting his glass to the man who approached him without looking up. "No thanks, I'm good."
"Right. Okay. Sorry." Nervous laugh. Namjoon feels inclined to turn back now. But he doesn't. "Do you mind if I sit next to you, it's the only available seat."
He finally looks up in the man's direction and instantly regrets not agreeing to the drink. He didn't come here to flirt or get hit on, he just needed an escape from his roommate and his boyfriend who's staying over for the night. He looks down at his already half empty drink. Well , he figures, it doesn't really matter why he came here as long as he's here, does it?
"You can sit." He smiles, intentionally making his dimples pop out. He doesn't miss the glimmer in the other's eyes when he notices them.
He quickly looks away however, ears bright red. "Thanks," he mumbles, finally sitting down.
The light hits him differently now and Namjoon can see just how beautiful he really is. Suddenly he feels incredibly flattered that a man like him would try to hit on him.
"Can I buy you a drink?" Namjoon asks.
The man looks at him with the cutest expression on his face that Namjoon has ever seen and he feels his heart clench a little looking at his big surprised eyes. The man gulps and replies, "Yeah, thanks."
"What do you want?"
"Vodka," he replies hastily. He catches how fast he answered that and winces at himself a little.
Namjoon chuckles. "Alright." He calls the bartender and orders shots for his seat mate and another beer for himself. "So what brings you here..."
"Seokjin. Kim Seokjin."
Namjoon smiles. "Kim Namjoon. Seokjin-ssi, what brings you here? I believe it's the first time I've seen you in this bar."
"Yeah." Seokjin fidles awkwardly with his fingers on his lap. "It's my first time trying something like this. Do you come here often?"
Namjoon brings a finger to the ceiling. "I live in the apartment above."
A flash of panic settles on Seokjin's face as he takes in the information. "Oh so are you not- Fuck I'm sorry, you just came here for a drink, this is embarrassing-" He looks around, breathing heavily, like he's looking for an escape.
"Hey," Namjoon whispers, leaning in and making Seokjin jump in his seat. "It's okay, I'm into men."
Seokjin gulps, trying very hard to avoid eye contact. Namjoon finds the whole thing very endearing. "Oh. That's.. that's good. Considering this is a gay bar..."
