Deep as an ocean

I woke up to the sound of waves crashing against the shore which is weird since the last time I checked I was sleeping in my bedroom...

"Alexis! Alexis! Do you remember?" Someone called. His voice was so sweet and gentle but there seemed to be a hint of sorrow in it.

I searched desperately for his face but I couldn't see anything clearly around me, everything was grey then black then white...

"Ugh..." I groaned. My whole body was sore from the intensive swimming lesson last night. My mind is so tired from those strange dreams i've been getting. This is the third night in a row where I heard the exact same voice calling to me. I don't know who he was but just hearing his voice made me feel like I knew him before. His voice gave me a warm fuzzy feeling.

Outside the rain is pitter-pattering against my window sill and I let the sound of it calm me. Great, I just remembered I have to leave early today for a student council meeting. I wonder why I always make the meetings so early in the morning to torture myself...

"Alexis! If you are not down here in 10 minutes I am not driving you to school!" my sister screamed at me.

Why does she say that?To show my parents that she is the more responsible one? Yeah right! Just her hair takes an hour to arrange and I only need ten minutes to do everything. She is the one that dates four different boyfriends every week and comes home with an alcoholic smell on her. Oh yeah she is totally responsible.

I usually don't bother looking at the clock for my sister still doesn't know when school starts but today I glanced at it briefly.

"What the freak is wrong with you! It's five in the morning!" I shouted back.

"Well I thought that you would like to have more time to relate for school!" she replied climbing up the stairs.

"I am not the one who insisted on taking an hour to fix their manicure today, so I would shut up if I were you!" I yelled and that shut her up for the rest of the morning.

In the end I drove myself to school since my sister took too long, as expected.

"Morning!" Terry sing-songed.

"Morning T T!" I mumbled.

"Well isn't somebody having a lousy morning." she replied using her most sarcastic voice ever which still isn't very sarcastic.

I ignored her talking non-stop as we walked, well I mostly stumbled, down the hall. Then I heard a locker slam which startled me and made me fall into him...

The first word that came to mind was gorgeous but little did I know what was awaiting both of us.

Coming soon...
