backstory: this is set 5 years after Civil War. None of the movies after civil war happened. Peter and Harley have been dating for 3 1/2 years

to say Tony was nervous would be understatement of the year. Not because the rogues were siting right across the living room from him but because Harley and Morgan would arrive home soon. Peter would most likely come up with them since he has been staying on the level beneath them for 4 1/2 years but spent most of his time on the main level. Normally Tony would be happy his kids were coming home but you see Morgan has slight anger issues and a cursing problem. Peter has PTSD and anxiety from his parents leaving. And well Harley he is just super protective of his boyfriend and kind of hates Peters parents.

Tony was sitting on the couch starring nervously at the elevator. Rhodey was propped up against the wall mirroring Tony's expression. It had been like this since the rogues got here the team had barley noticed them in the room or so they thought. All of the Rogues were naturally confused as to why Tony looked so nervous they had already seen Pepper so who else was Tony scared of. All of the rogues except Natasha and Bucky were starring quizzically at Tony trying to figure out why he was so nervous. Natasha was looking at the coffee table in front of her and Bucky was starring down at his shoes. T'challa, and Shuri on the other hand found all of this hilarious and were trying there hardest not to laugh at the situation at hand although every now and then a small giggle will slip past there lips.

then the numbers on the elevator stated to rise along with the anxiety that filled the room by the time the elevator was passing the last 15 floors Tony was pacing and Rhodey was getting more and more nervous. the higher the elevator went the harder it was for the royal siblings to not bust out laughing.

everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at the elevator as a loud ding* was heard through out the penthouse. Pepper walked out of the kitchen into the living room just in time to see three kids that she knew all to well. but what confused the rogues was that they weren't aware anyone had kids but here they were. A tall blonde boy with ocean blue eyes and a dopey smile plastered on his face as he starred lovingly at the smaller brunette with chocolate brown eyes that was laughing cutely and holding the blonds hand and also having a smaller brunette girl around six that had hazel eyes and a bright smile as she watched the two boys have a conversation.

with out looking away from his boyfriend Peter started to talk " Hey future father-in-law is it ok if Harley and Morgan stay on my level for the night we wanted to have a movie marathon tonight. Tony then spoke nervously "uuh sure kid but um we have something to do first." "oh sorr-" Harley spoke finally turning away from his boyfriend only for his voice to get caught in his throat at the sight of the rogues shocked faces. "what are you all doing here?" peter questions quietly in disbelief as the ground beneath them starts to tremble slightly. " Peter babe calm down, sweetie it will all be okay I will protect you." Harley whispers trying to prevent the on coming sensory overload that is bound to happen.

everyone was so caught up in the scene in front of them no one seemed to notice the little brunette six year-old girl slide of Peter's back and run in front of Steve until. "You stupid bastard!" Morgan yelled from her newfound spot in front of Steve kicking him in the private area. after taking a minute to recover the super soldier said "you should not talk like that kid." "And last time I checked you weren't my dad so you can kiss my ass." came Morgan's snarky remark to which Tony interjected the oncoming argument. "woah woah hey Morgan calm down its ok sweetheart!" "calm down this is the guy that dropped an airport ramp on petey and almost killed you in Siberia then he just waltzes up in our house like he owns the place telling me how to behave. No way I am out of here." Morgan practically screeches stomping out of the living room. " Steve did what?" Natasha fumed at the new found revelation. " That is not how a child her age should act!" Steve scolded to Tony ignoring Natasha's last comment. Out of nowhere Morgan fires back into the room screeching "A. Steve you are not my parents so you can't tell me what to do B. kiss my ass C. don't judge how I act saying that's not how a kid your age should talk because you are to old to know how I should talk!" Morgan then turned around and stormed back up to her room.

when Morgan out earshot Steve started scolding Tony again "your kid has no manners Tony how could you let a six year talk like that?" he questioned flabbergasted "I only let her talk like that to people who have hurt her or here family so good luck with that one." Tony retorted. "can we please get back to the part were she said Steve dropped an airport ramp on my kid?" Bucky all but yelled disrupted the ongoing chaos that surrounded the living room.

"every one just shut hell up!" Harley yelled quieting the chaos and reminding the heroes in the room of the couple in the corner. all the heroes turned to face the couple only to be faced with the once cheerful brunette curled up in the fetal position on the ground in the corner with tears streaming down his rosy cheeks with the ground trembling more noticeably now and glowing gold portals opening randomly around the room. The blond was crouched beside him whispering sweet promises in his boyfriends ear. "Pete what wrong?" Natasha asked hesitantly walking forward. "P-Please go away." Peter quietly whimpered out just barley heard.

"Hey there P it's okay shh just close your eyes and I will protect you." Harley quietly whispered in Peter's ear. The last thing peter remembered before passing out were familiar warmth of his boyfriends arms wrap around him and lift him of the ground.
