It all started out so, horrible.
When we all woke up it felt so, I don't even know how to put it exactly. If I had to guess at what it felt like it would be the feeling of when you walk into a room and don't remember why you walked in there for.
Only this was much worse...
I wasn't the first to wake up and I wasn't the last either. Despite that the feeling of confusion wasn't the only thing that was running through me. My family always used to tell me I flinch alot around people, and that I was prone to snapping at them for coming near me. It wasn't till I visited some family in Nevada that some of the reasons why became apparent. My bisabuela told me it was something her family struggled with. She told me it was a blessing and a curse. I just called it having common sense and trusting my gut. My father was a bastard just like me but, he did teach me a couple useful things. That the feeling in your gut was intuition based on instinct and years of living your life. Be it good or bad.
And every feeling in my gut said that this room was divided.

When the woman spoke through the speakers everyone stopped what they were doing to listen.
Unknown " I understand you all must be very confused..." She had a southern accent my best guess would be Georgia.
" My name isn't important, neither is my face, race, or anything remotely similar. What is important is that you've all been chosen to participate in this study." Alot of people seem to disagree and made their points very vocal about being little lab rats I was more concerned with what she had to say. "... Quiet down and all you need to know will be explained."
Her voice swept over the crowd and she picked a few names at random.
