Takes place after Fire Force Season 1 Episode 3: The Rookie Fire Soldier Games
Shinra's POV

After the fight with the weird dude and a talk with the captain I suddenly felt alone somehow... I was starting to become paranoid, I flinched when somebody touched me as I would usually be deep in thought and I would also look in the direction of what made a sound.

I felt on edge but somehow nobody noticed the lies, fake smile, fake laugh, fake mask, and worst of all fake kindness. The worst thing was I had to share a room with the so called "knight-king". I could never feel at peace and slowly I just stopped sleeping all-together. I guess you could say I've developed Insomnia and ADHD.

I couldn't let my worries out or people would think I'm crazier than I am. So I just keep it bottled up since I can't let out my frustrations. But everyday I feel myself grow more distant and isolated from the others. I slowly start thinking of the offer that man left me, "If you ever wanna stop being a 'hero' and be a devil then come find the joker. I'll be waiting, Devil~."

I felt as if I was being watched so without thinking I slowly started to walk away from the dump. I feel the presence follow me. I feel a sudden puncture in my neck as I slowly drift off I hear someone whisper into my ear lustfully, "If you wanted to play with me you should've just said so~. I'm also gonna be taking you home now, your 'friends' won't notice your gone I'll make sure if that~. Struggle all you want but your mine now~!"

I started to black out as I felt my body slump down, leaning into the person lazily. My vision was blurry I didn't know what to do but it felt good to finally get some sleep. I was tired... I finally realized and closed my eyes with a visible frown, awaiting the nightmares sure to come to life.
