Maybe it was best not to confess your feelings to your best friend when he is flying all the way to Korea to fulfil his dream of becoming a rapper.
"W-What?" The 17 year old boy says.
"I just will miss you a lot so I'm telling my feelings now. I know your leaving which is why I thought it was a better idea considering you don't like me that way."

"Passengers taking Flight 0325 from Sydney to Seoul please get ready to board the plane."
"You should go Felix. You have dream to chase, I would just be an obstacle. I will try to forget this silly crush on you."

"Calling passengers of Flight 0325 you may board the plane now."
"Oh your plane, you should board now."
"_____ wait."
"I just remembered the dance team is having practice today and as the president I can't be late." You hugged Felix.
"Maybe we can see each other again. That is if you aren't busy fending off the many fangirls." You chuckled bitterly. "Good luck lix. I will miss you."
"______." You walked away. You couldn't turn back to him even if he was calling after you. It hurt too much.
A year later, Felix finally debuted. He changed. Like literally his hair was blonde now and he wasn't the dorky childhood friend you had. His fierce piercing look as he stared at camera during the shows.
Before Felix left, you had placed a small gift and a letter in his suitcase. Just you know if he ever missed you he could just take a look. It was a photo book with all the fun pictures you two took ever since you were younger. The letter was just you confessing and telling him the same thing before he left.
Time flew too fast and now it was already 2019. You heard that Felix's group was having a world tour and one of the stop included Australia.
Of course Felix's mom invited you but you it just clashed with your schedule. Maybe just for Felix, you could move it to some other time....so you called the pet shelter.
"Hey umm could I move the volunteering to other day...I got something important that just came up."
