The Cambion

Chapter 2. Cambion of the Leviathan

It's been two whole months since Eisheth awoke me from my slumber, definitely holding a grudge for that but then again. She did it to protect me from everyone else, she cast some sort of spell around her castle so nobody would feel my presence which made me wonder why she didn't do that before? Today is the day her and I leave hell and into the human world, the problem is that once I step out of the castle, everyone will know I am here and we will have problems. The month I spent here, Eisheth has taught me how to use and control my powers. Summoning Shadows of myself, Making weapons appear right out of thin air, summoning beasts and even bringing the dead alive for some time. She even taught me some manipulative magic where I basically manipulate people or to put it simply, control them. One of the most important arts of magic she taught me was aura control which is basically our energy. You can see how powerful someone is by the aura around them, it is also the energy used for pretty much anything that's magic. No aura means no magic, no magic means you're practically useless which is why she also taught me how to survive without magic. Only a few number of demons know about it, Eisheth being the main one. I learned everything pretty quick which is why today we leave into the human world, she told me that once I step out I should move as quickly as possible since every demon will be coming to get me. Cambion get your things ready, we're leaving in ten minutes so get prepared. I hear her say from the first floor of the castle while I'm on the fourth, found out that all five instincts are 10X more enhanced than humans and normal demons. I head to the library to pick up one of my favorite books she had there, "The most dangerous game". Reading it was quite entertaining and a good way to pass the time, as I rush to get it I accidentally knock down a couple other books. While picking them up, a certain red dusty book with a red emerald and a lock catches my eye. I put my book in my backpack and then pick the one with the lock before I can mess with it Eisheth calls me from downstairs. CAMBION IT IS TIME SO GET DOWN HERE!!! I place the book inside my backpack too and rush down to her, she's standing by the door with some human clothes and a backpack, her horns disappeared and her wings gone along with her tail. I had nothing to change since I already looked like a human, I walk towards her and tell her I'm ready. As I open the door she pulls out a pair of glasses from her backpack and puts them on, I look at her with like if she were a weirdo and she looks back at me. Thought I'd look cute with them now let's go, She steps out the castle and gets in position as if she were in a race.

Try to keep up, the faster we get out of here then the less trouble we will have. She says and in a blink of an eye she is gone, only a cloud of dust is left from her fast running. I hesitated for a second for I have never stepped foot outside of the castle so I was a little nervous. I get in position and just like that, I run out of the castle at unbelievable speed. I was so fast I was able to catch up to Eisheth who also looks quite surprised, guess she thought It would take me a while to catch up to her. Good job at controlling your speed, I remember when you had a hard time with that. She says to me and as I was about to speak a huge boulder is thrown at us which lands right in front of us causing us to stop. We look around at who or what threw it and as we turn around we see a giant demon. Bright red eyes, skin the color of blood, sharp fangs and claws, two sets of horns with a brightly lit fire in the middle of them. Eisheth looked scared, but why? I've read about these demons. They might be huge and strong but for someone like Eisheth, it would be a piece of cake to defeat it. The only difference with this one was it's Aura, it was huge but why...? WATCH OUT!!!! Eisheth screams and before I knew it, an arrow had been shot right through my chest. I fell to my knees as Eisheth rushes to me, puts both her hands on my chest attempting to stop the bleeding. I look ahead of me and the big demon had turned into an average demon with a human form. I could see its bright red eyes still but the horns were now gone, Slowly he walks towards my direction. Eisheth gets in front but is kicked out of the way, Who was this? Eisheth isn't just some mere demon you can easily hurt. Allow me to introduce myself, My name is Eliot, Cambion of Leviathan. He was just like me, a cambion but why is he doing this? does he not know I'm just like him? Sorry buddy but my master has ordered me to get rid of you and take Eisheth, I will be honest, I kinda expected you to fight or something but oh well, guess you were just a failed creation from that whore demon. He says and proceeds to transform his bow and arrow into some sort of short sword. No hard feelings I hope, just doing what I am ordered to.He says before going for my head, I close my eyes and wait. Eisheth screams but they are cut short by me realizing I'm not dead yet... I open my eyes to see Eliot in shock, His short sword was right on my neck but I was able to stop it by grabbing the sword with my bare hand.
