new girl secrets

Part 1

hi. my names luna but some people call me lu. since I was 12, I've always been different. I've had abilities to do things. not normal things, I can do anything. I have powers. 

I had never been close with my mom and I've always had to fend for myself. I never told anyone about this, not even her. I don't want anyone finding out because I just want to be normal.

in my old school, I was one of the most popular girls in the school, but with all the attention, people started getting too close to the truth. I decided I needed to move.

of course, my mom didn't want to move so I've had to move into a shared house. I have no idea about any of the people living there as it was a rush to get out. all I know is ill be going there on Saturday so I will have to get a hotel until then.

I've decided in school it's probably not the best to draw attention to myself, so I won't try to be popular, I will be a nerd I guess.

anyway right now, I am in a taxi about to pull up to the hotel in new york. it's dark outside as its 10 pm.

the taxi stops outside a 4-star hotel which looks nice. I pay the taxi driver and get out of the taxi with my bags.

as I walk into the hotel I am greeted by a worker who takes my bags. I tell the man at the counter my name and he gives me directions and a key.

I get up to my room and unlock the door to see my bags there. the room is quite big, normal hotel kind of vibes. 

I move the bags with just moving my hand to where I want them.

obviously, one thing catches my eye-the room service menu. I make it fly to my hands and I scan through it before finding a hamburger which I quickly order with and extra patty.

the burger comes while im unpacking the things I'll need for the next day. its smell fills the room even before the man who delivered it had left.

I eat it like I hadn't eaten for days. it's not until I finish eating that I realise how gross I feel and look after the long journey. so I decide to shower.

after I get out I decide to go to sleep because I have to go to school tomorrow which I think is dumb because it is Friday so there's only one day but mom said I have to. I turn the lights out with just a thought and fall asleep pretty quickly.
