The sun ahd already set a while ago.
It had been 17 years since Michelangela or Michelle was adopted by the Renaldis. She mostly spent her time alone because of how she looked, and the people she knew were limited. Luckaly, the staff that worked for her family were loyal and the people closest to her parents in Rome, Italy knew to keep their mouths shut since no one ever heard of a child that could pass for a mutant.
Her parents, even though they were always busy, still found a way to have time for their little girl. They also wanted to make sure she understood the world around her, so Michelle was homeschooled, knowing about all kinds of subjects, but her favorites were history, music, and even dancing. Michelle loved dancing ever since she was five when she first saw her parents dancing in the ballroom.
Another thing she liked to do was train in ninjutsu. Her father was very concerned for the well being of his daughter. He knew one day Michelle would want to explore the world outside her home, and he feared she would be taken away because of her appearance. Then, he recalled that he had a friend that learned ninjutsu and had him come to teach Michelle how to defend herself. Over time, Michelle learned how to master the nunchucks, a whip, tessen, and a kusarigama.
Michelle learned how to defend herself well.
But all good things eventually come to an end one day.
Richard Renaldi had a blood clot in his leg that he had been fighting over the past few years, and despite the best doctors trying to help him get cured, he eventually succumbed to it.
On his deathbed, he told Michelle to make something good out of her abilities.
----In the hospital (memory)--------
"Michelle." Richard said in a soft voice.
"Yes Daddy?" Michelle said as her voice slightly cracked, trying not to cry.
Richard smiled at her as he reached to brush his hand in her shoulder-length ginger hair.
"Ever since we brought you into our lives, I began to think that you came to us for a reason. As a gift. You're name means 'angel messenger of God'. You were sent to us as a message that you were destined to be our daughter. And an angel for Rome."
"An angel for Rome?"
"Yes, God looked at this city and felt that it needed an angel to watch over it. To protect it. He must've also felt that your mother and I were sorrowful for one thing we wished we could have but couldn't; a child to raise and love. That's why he sent you. Promise me that you will be true to yourself and to cast light onto Rome, even if you are tempted by the darkness that plagues this city, my dear little angel." Richard said softly.
"I will, Daddy." Michelle said, as a tear escaped her eye.

It had been a year since Richard Renaldi died, but Michelle and he mother managed to cope. Within a month, Michelle decided to do something good with her abilities. She mostly stuck to the shadows out in the field at night, but she had been fighting off crooks, muggers, and other petty criminals in Rome, New York.
Right now, she was tracking one crook that escaped from prison, and he was heading over to New York City. Normally, it would take 5 hours to get there, but Michelle figured to use the sewer since she knew how to travel there faster that way.
Little did she know she would be in for a big surprise.
--------NYC----------------------
In a certain lair somewhere, a tech-clad turtle with glasses was checking the surveillance monitors. April had just updated him that a notorious crook has escaped form Rome, New York, and was on his way to NYC. If he would come around here, he'd have another ting coming, or at least that's what his brother Raph would say-?
Donnie looked at one of the monitors and noticed a black blur just whizzed by it. Was it a Foot Clan member? No, not even the lower ranks were that fast. He reminded the footage, to slow it down.
The figure was clad in black but with a bit of orange, and they wore a ski mask and a ponytail. The figure was rading on what seems to be a skateboard, but it was also rocket-powered. He couldn't tell if the figure was male or female because they were crouching. But then he noticed something.
The figure had what appeared to be a small shell on their back.
Was...Was this another mutant turtle?
That would be impossible.
"Donnie, whaz up? whatcha lookin at?" Raph asked as he walked up to Donnie in the lab.
"Well, im not so sure myself, but I think you and Leo would want to see this." The genus turtle said as he pointed to the screen.
"See what?" Leo asked as he came into the lab and looked at the screen.
The red and blue turtles were just as surprised.
"Is that...? No can't be." Raph gruffed.
"But guys don't you remember? What Splinter told us when we were younger? About the lost fourth turtle?" Donnie asked his brothers.
This silenced them. When they were younger, Splinter told them that there used to be a fourth turtle in the laboratory. He never knew if the turtle was related to them or not, but the fourth turtle was kept separate from them, and was isolated in the lab. April did rescue that turtle as well, but in a few hours before they were fully mutated, a terrible rainstorm came up, and the fourth turtle was swept up in a strong current. Splinter was never able to find the fourth turtle, and thought they had died.
What if that figure is the lost turtle?
Only one way to find out.
"Okay, we'll look for this figure. Let's rock n' roll boys." Leo said as they all got their respective weapons.
