‡Normal POV‡

Three teenagers sat on the rooftop of the old school building. Big bright amber, green, and magenta eyes stare at each other while they converse on what happened to them today.

"Oi Midori, how was your first day of school?" The boy with amber orbs asked the girl with green ones.
"I hate it." The girl said quickly with no emotion.
The magenta-eyed girl started to giggle.
"What you reading Nene?"  Both Midori and Hanako said in unison as the nudge there way to see the story.

"I'm reading about a girl who was captured by evil spirits, then one day a handsome prince came falling out from the sky!" The two ghosts looked at each other and shook their heads.
"Hey! A girl can dream! Especially if she's the partner of two apparitions!
" When the handsome prince fell the girl caught him, the prince then exorcised the spirits.

The boy then took the book away from the white-haired girl.
"Nope! I 'm taking this book, you're dreaming about me being exorcised. It's dangerous"

"the" the girl said sweat-dropping.
"Anyway, what did you do-"
"HANAKO!" An unknown voice came from nowhere. The two girls looked around in confusion as to the boy looked towards the sky.

All of a sudden a boy with yellow hair and lightning blue eyes came flying out from the top of the building. The girl with white hair stared lovingly at the boy. While both Midori and Hanako stared in awe.

"My name is Kou Minamato! I'm here to exorcise the evil spirit Hanako! Take your departing gift to hell!" The boy yelled. Yashiro's face went (Idk how to explain so I'll use and emoji for it)
-~-  while both apparations stared at the boy.

"Well, well isn't it the descendant of the mighty Minamato,, Midori said with a smirk.
"Y-yeah, I am but... who are you?" Kou stared at Midori's figure for a few seconds and looked away blushing.
"Huh? You don't know me!?" Well, take a look at me!"
Midori came striding towards a scared Kou who was fleeing with a red face.
"I'm sorry miss! I don't want to look at your curvy figure!" He said bowing while closing his eyes shut. Everyone was looking at Midori who just realized what she said. (Her face 😶)

"Ahhh!!! I'm sorry I didn't mean it that way! Just look at my face!"
"I can't it's too beautiful!" Kou announced
"Oi, oi that's enough,"  Hanako said in a sinister tone. "Don't talk about my friend like that boy"  Hanako started walking towards Kou.
"So you say you wanna exorcise me huh? I'd like to see you try" Hanako was bow standing in front of Kou who was getting ready to strike.
"I will end you Hanako! And save those two girls as well!"

(I'm sorry my readers, but author-chan isn't good with fighting scenes so bare with me 😭)

‡Midori's POV‡
Kou the boy that has vowed to exorcise Hanako took out a weird shared umbrella. He then hit Hanako on his shoulder.
"You think this can exorcise me, boy-" Hanako was then cut off with big bolts of lightning.
"HANAKO!!"  Both I and Yashiro yelled while running towards the fallen ghost.
"Haha! This is no ordinary staff! This is a tool for exorcism passed down from generation to generation! It transforms the users will power into demon slaying lightning!" Kou then ran towards the laying Hanako but was stopped by us when we flew right in front of him.

"H-hey! Watch out I might... hurt you?"
Both me and Yashiro were making cute angry faces.
"Don't hurt him! He's our friend!" We both said in unison.
"And w-who are you?" Kou said with a stutter.
"I'm Nene Yashiro first year highschooler and best friend and partner of Hanako so don't hurt him!"
Did I decide not to say anything because... why not?
"B-but he's an evil spirit and if I don't defeat him he's going to destroy the school"

‡Yashiro's POV‡

"So are you saying that all spirits should be eliminated?" Midori's once bright happy face has gone cold and dark. Her left eye was covered with her hair as she faces down to the ground. Her fist curled into a ball until her knuckles turned white.

"I mean yeah because of their evil," Kou said with a tiny blush.
"So what if I'm a spirit?" Midori said with no emotion.
'Wait isn't she one?'
"B-but your not!" Kou shouted at the angry Midori.
"Am I?" She said in a questioning tone as she removed her eye patch showing her scar and blind right eye, But instead of a clear empty eye, a black pupil appeared in her eye while a white one appeared in her left.
She then reached down to her left leg. There was a click and then the leg popped off revealing a black demon looking bird leg. Two horns began to appear from Midori's head.

"What do you think now Kou Minamoto? Am I a spirit or not?" Her voice was doubled, one was her original while the other was deeper.
You stared at her in disbelief.
"You-you're... You're the girl who was killed along with her family in an accident. Midori Suzuki, 10 years old the middle child of the wealthy Suzuki family. She had an older brother Aka and a younger sister named Aoi. Both were killed as well."

"Hm, you got everything right except for one thing, it wasn't an accident it was murder., Midori said grimly.
"But why do you look like your 25!?" Kou said red as a tomato.
"This is what I'm supposed to look like when I turn 13 I guess" Midori was standing in a very frightening posture her voice was nothing just plain with no emotion but...
"I guess I am a little too thick!" She said happily while poking her cheek.

"I guess you didn't transform fully Midori-chan" A voice came from behind. Midori faced towards the voice and as she turned she returned back to normal.
"Hanako?"
"Move aside both of you, I'm going to finish the boy off"

‡Time skip After the fight and knocking out poor Kou‡
‡Midori's POV‡

"So brutal" I sighed as I went to the knocked out boy.
"Hey, it had to be done, he's strong so he probably wouldn't have given up," Hanako said as he floated away.
"At least let me recover him," I said as I started unpacking the first-aid kit.
"Hmph I envy you Midori-chan"
Hanako made a pouty face.
"Why is that?"
"You still want to do the things you meant to do in the past"
Sadness filled both of our eyes.
"Yeah"
A quiet Yashiro then interrupted our conversation
"Hanako-Kun? Is it true that you really killed a person?"

Everything was silent. No one answered except the wind until Hanako finally spoke.
"Yashiro, can you really be friends with a murderer?"
He said seriously sending a shiver down my spine. Yashiro was speechless.
"I'm just joking, we have to go, come on Midori. Yashiro take care of the boy would ya"
He then left I soon follow him.
