CHAPTER 30

I looked at the clock; it's 8 in the morning. I don't know why I am awake this early, but I am too lazy to get up, so I snuggled more in my comforter. I closed my eyes, enjoying the warmth. I suddenly jerked up into a sitting position and grabbed my mobile to check what the day today.FRIDAY!! Today is freaking Friday!!! It's my NIKKAH today.

The last two days went in a blur. Mami and Amma asked for a relative in Pakistan to send a Simple Pakistani dress for the nikkah and the preparations? They are doing it like some excited kids!! And obviously, I am not even taking part in my own wedding preps, I don't care about the shopping, and secondly, I know Amma and Mami got good choice, Anum 

I haven't seen much of Sheroze for past two days.He is busy doing what, and I don't know.Anum had to go with her Khala to someone's house,so she was there.She said she would be back around 11 today.Nikkah will be after Zuhr namaz.

I got up and went to the bathroom, and looked myself in the mirror.WOAH!! Like, wow for the first time in my life I don't look like a sleep deprived zombie and I woke up early and still I am fresh,I even have a soft glow on my face.I hummed a random tune,washed my face,and changed my clothes and went down grabbing my mobile from nightstand.

No one was awake at this time,I went to the kitchen, grabbed mango juice, poured it in my glass, and i plumed myself on the couch in the living room,unlocking my phone I found a message from Sheroze I smiled unconsciously seeing that.I checked the time he sent the message and it was sent at 7:30.

Sheroze: Why isn't it Zuhr already? Can't wait!!

I laughed at his antics and I replied,''Have some Patience.'' Just then my phone started to ring,Sheroze was calling me so I picked up before anyone else wakes up.

"Assalam O Alaikum!! How are you awake at this time?''Sheroze asked me amazed.

''Walikum Assalam!! I don't know I just did.Where are you btw?''I asked him curiously.

"Why? You miss me?''He asked teasing me.

"Sherozee!''I blushed.

"Do you know I can feel you blushing from here.'I am sure I am resembling a blush kit.

''Tell me naa.''I pouted.

''I am staying at a hotel.Asif flew in last night with Bhabi.''He informed me,''And I am not even staying at house from last two days but you are not even noticing that.You don't even care about your TO-BE-HUSBAND.''Sheroze said.

My cheeks warmed at the husband thing.I can't believe I am marrying Sheroze and I will be married in a few hours.I didn't replied him cause I can't.

''Hoor?''Sheroze said in a soft voice.I hmmed.

''I can't wait.''He said and again I kept quiet my heart was beating wildly in my chest.I cut the call without saying anything else.

''Me too Sheroze.Me too.''I said to myself.

"Why are you sitting here and smiling to yourself?''A voice came from behind me and I look back startled and Mami was standing there smiling.

''Assalam O alaikum.''I said."Walikum Assalam!! You couldn't sleep didn't you?''Mami asked and I shook my head.

"I know, I know that's what marriage day does to you.''Mami said while she came and sat beside me.

I looked at her for a moment and said,''Mami I am scared.''She smiled and asked,''Why?''

"I don't know Mami! I feel like I am not a perfect wife material.I can;t cook properly,I can't act sophisticated and I don't know I just...''I said and sighed.
