Jordan's P.O.V
I didn't know where I was going but I know it wasn't home. I just walked I guess. I never really stopped unless it was to cross the street. I walked until I hit a long gravel road. It was unused. It was where all the 'Rebels' went to break speed limits and ditch school. It was peaceful. I kicked my feet around on the dusty gravel until I decided to sit in the field between the train tracks and road to freedom as we call it.
I pulled at unkept grass and only thought of things I could write, never say. I thought of short poems or even story lines revolving around my dark thoughts I have struggled through. I reached into my bag and pulled out a notebook. It was somewhat filled with doodles instead of the math notes that were supposed to be in it. I flipped to a blank page and stared at it. Soon I though of a fitting tittle called'Pain is not beautiful'
'Stop romanticizing pain
It's not pretty or elegant
Self torture is not something to envy
Eating disorders may be fascinating, until you have one
Why would you want to hear the voices that push you to death?
Taking pills for some sort of sanity is not happy
So why? Why would you romanticize any of this?
Self harming should not gain you popularity
Schizophrenia is horrific
Who would want to live in a world that is controlled by a secret family consisting of diseases that become comforters in a dark room?
Oh that's right, those who romanticize pain'Nothing gave me a sense of calm like writing this did. Getting feelings out that I could never say, has gave me a confidence I have only dreamed of. So I guess that field is where I found new type of release that doesn't involve skin and blade. Hmm maybe this could help me
