1ST JULY, 2015
in the cool breeze of a saturday night, jinsoul hurried home. it was half past 11 at night, and hyunjin wanted to see her.
suddenly, she ran into someone, dropping all her music sheets and her guitar. swiftly, she collected all her stuff and stood up, brushing her clothes.
"i-i'm sorry!" said jinsoul, looking up to face the person she ran into. it was a girl, slightly taller than her with long, wavy brown hair. the girl smiled at jinsoul, picking up her guitar.
"don't worry about it," she said, handing jinsoul her guitar. jinsoul instantly took it from the girl, swinging the case over her shoulder. "you like music?"
jinsoul nodded while grinning. she didn't know why, but the girl made her smile. maybe because no one ever took an interest in what jinsoul liked, except her girlfriend.
"i like music as well," said the girl. "you have a nice name, jinsoul."
jinsoul's eyes widened in suprise. "h-how do you know my name?"
the girl laughed and pointed at jinsoul's guitar case, which had her name printed in bold on it.
"oh! haha..." giggled jinsoul. she never really laughed around people, but now a random stranger she doesn't know the name of made her laugh. jinsoul pushed back her hair behind her ears, revealing a bloody cut from where she fell down.
"jinsoul! you're..bleeding," said the girl, covering her mouth in shock. jinsoul touched her face where the cut was, realizing there was a lot of blood. "w-wait, i think i have a bandaid."
the girl pulled out a bandaid, putting it on where the cut was. "it's not enough to just put a bandaid on it, make sure when you go home you treat it properly."
jinsoul nodded.
"well, it's getting late. i have somewhere to be, but maybe we'll meet again," said the girl, fixing her hair. "bye jinsoul!"
"wait! i didn't get your name!" said jinsoul, but it was too late. the girl already disappeared into the darkness of the night. jinsoul sighed and continued to walk home.
finally, she got home. jinsoul opened the door and flung herself on the couch, closing her eyes. it was already midnight, and she was exhausted.
"jinsoul!" shouted a voice, coming from the kitchen. suddenly, a girl ran into the room and jumped on the couch, next to jinsoul. "where have you been?"
"i went to the café...i'm sorry hyunjin-" lied jinsoul. if hyunjin knew jinsoul was talking to another girl she would get upset.
"there's nothing to be sorry about, at least you're okay." said hyunjin, cutting jinsoul off.
jinsoul nodded, closing her eyes and resting her head on hyunjin's shoulder. hyunjin smiled and slowly closed her eyes as well, as they both fell asleep on the couch.
