The light of the after noon shines down on the city of Broad Lake. The school bell chimes, and the children are finally released for their parents to meet them outside. The children shouting and frolicking happily toward their Moms and Dads, Grandpas and Grandmas, all but one. A child walks outside with her head down, hugging herself and walking quickly through the gaggle to a bench, as if trying to keep herself unnoticed.

She sits down and simply looks around, anxious as if shes being watched. To calm herself down she begins to hum to herself an out of beat melody, as she waits for her...Parents. Despite the warmth of breeze around her, a chill goes down her back. Agatha sits by herself, almost motionless, as time goes by and the area starts to calm. Only the noise of the various birds and cars driving by teasing the tranquil peace.

Agatha has always been seen as an oddity within the schools grounds. Quiet, but Respectful and Engaged. Always early and on time, and not a thing she Hasn't passed, A star child that Any parent would ask for; but there is a slight difference between Quiet...and Silence.

"I got it! I got it!"

The sound of loud obnoxious laughter comes her way as a ball bounces near and hits Agatha on her shoulder, jolting her back to her proper senses. The walks up to her with a wide bright smile on his face.

"Sorry Agatha! Harold threw too hard."

She looked at him with a blank confusion as he brushes her off and grabs the ball. The ruffian boy tosses the ball back from where it came, but as he walks away he stops and looks to the girl sitting, Alone. He walks back to her.

"Hey, are you good?"

She looks to him, seeming not to understand. The boy remembers that Agatha was home schooled, told through students rumors, and that she might not know English. He stands frozen with embarrassment for a moment before shaking it off and smiling again.

"Im Keion, we're in the same class with Mrs. Carolina?"

Agatha remembers this boy. Loves to talk, has plenty of friends, and jokes a lot, but is known to act out like a clown. She nods her head lightly in response. Keion takes a breath and looks around, then back to her.

"Nobody comi'n to pick you up?

Agatha then eyes Keion, his jersey to his unkempt nappy hair, even catching the light spots of Grey in the white of his eyes, unsure what to really think of loud mouth child, but due to his attitude she him. realizes that her Father likely forgot to pick her up again, it's been over an hour already. She shakes her head "No".

"I've seen you pass more Quizes, than I've seen your dad you know?"

Agatha looks down for a moment gripping her dress skirt. Keion notices this, then turns to his friends looking on behind him.

"Imma catch y'all Later!"

Keion says waving and few of them noticing, waving and shouting back. He turns back to Agatha and offers his hand. She looks at him in confusion from the gesture.

"I'll take ya home, I don't live far, just point the way."

He says with a smile. Agatha is surprised by the offer, though she merely looks on with her cold expression on her face at first, not really believing the moment is real.

"Hey Ag? My hand getting tired..."

She stands on her feet putting on her back pack and slowly reaches for Keions hand, taking it in her own.

"Where to?" He says.

Agatha leads them as they start to go down the side walk. Keion begins to spout off his random thoughts and jokes as they go, while the gated and mute Agatha keeps to her norm, but keeps close to her new unexpected chaperone as the dusk comes.
