Wisdom Teeth

I got the idea from @yaoianddepression and from the fact that I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed next week. I won't update often and I hope you enjoy my oneshots! ~Ashley :p
Hinata's POV
Today, Kageyama is getting his wisdom teeth removed, and as his only friend, I am going with him as support! Kageyama may act tough and mean, but I know he's a big softie! Apparently, I'm the only one on the team who can tell what he's feeling from his expressions. That might be because I have a small crush on him but, meh. I will never tell him, he'll never except anyway, the only thing he is interested in is volleyball anyway. Well, I better get going, or I'll be late.

I arrive on bike to Kageyama's house, and knock on the door, I'm nervous because I've never met Kageyama's parents before before. A woman with long straight black hair pulled into a loose bun with deep blue eyes answered the door. She was wearing a light grey apron over a yellow shirt and blue jeans. She spoke with a very motherly tone, she reminded me of Suga-San a bit, "Oh! You must be Hinata-Kun! Did you bike all the way from the mountains! Oh my, if you would have asked I could have gone and picked you up! Come in! Come in!"
"It's really no trouble Kageyama-Soma! Thank you for having me over!" "Such a polite young man! Are you hungry? Let me fix you something to eat!" "Oh, no! I already ate this morning! Thank you for the offer though ma'am!" Just then, Kageyama came down the stairs, he was already dressed but he still looked tired. He was wearing a black graphic t-shirt and a pear of black shorts that came to just above his knees. "Good morning Mom. Morning Hinata." "Good morning Tobio-Chan!" "Good morning Kageyama!" "Are you boys ready to go?" We nodded.

At the surgeons office, I noticed Kageyama was nervous waiting to be called back. I nudged him and said, "It'll be fine!" "I know that Dumbass!" He quietly snapped at me so his mother wouldn't hear him curse." They called him back and we waited for two hours. Finally, the doctors said that they were done. We walked back to his room, they opened the door for us and there he was, Tobio Kageyama, looking around the room in a loopy daze. His pupils were dilated and his mouth was swollen and stuffed with gauze. The second I looked at him, I realized that he was really scared. His mother walked towards him and said, "Hey sweetly, how are you feeling?" "Tewwible" he said with a stuffed mouth. Kageyama-Soma ushered my over and had me say hello, "Hey Kageyama!" "Oh, hi Hinata!" Wait? Was that joy in his voice, this is going to be a weird day!

The doctor pulled Kageyama-Soma aside to talk to her about Kageyama's surgery. I stayed next to Kageyama as support. Kageyama remained silent, like he was trying to hold something back. I poked his forehead to irritate him into saying whatever it was. He batted my hand away and flared at me, but his glare was playful. It's kinda weird seeing Kageyama be so open, but I guess this is what goes on in his head. I'm glad I get to see this~. Kageyama-Soma and the doctor finished their conversation and we walked Kageyama to the car.

In the car, Kageyama looked around like the room was spinning, honestly to him it probably was. I smiled at him reassuringly, he blushed! Oh my god? Is Tobio Kageyama blushing! So hot! 🥵 I'm dying! Ack! We arrive at Kageyama's house and get out of the car, just in time, it was getting hot in there. In the house, we take off our shoes and stepped inside. "Alright boys! I'm going to make some lunch! You both go up stairs and relax!" We nodded and for once, we didn't race, Kageyama was too tired. Once up in his room we sat on his bed, he lied down and grunted. "You should probably change your gauze. . ." I say rubbing my neck. "Mmm. . ." He gets up and walks to the bathroom that's off his bedroom. He comes back with fresh gauze in his mouth and flops back onto the bed. I lie down next to him, "How do you feel Bakayama?" "Mmmmmm." He turned over and pulled me towards him! "Huh?" He hugged me into his chest. I gave in and hugged him back, nuzzling my face into the crook of his neck. We lied like that until lunch, I went home after dinner. My head was full of hope, I think I am ready to confess to him!
