Our Secret (April POV)

I scratch the back of my head opening my eyes yawning and rubbing my eyes adjusting to light peering through my window
"What time is it" I say to myself looking at my phone on my nightstand
"5:34am" DeeDee and Niah don't have work today but I do because It's my last day as only Chris's maid and moving up maid/secretary :,)
I smile thinking of how good the pay is and how much closer to the dream I'm getting
     Walking towards my closet I take my dress off the hanger and grabbing my leggings and my cute new lace green panties and toss them on the bed walking to the bathroom turning the shower on running my hand under the water
"Is the hot water off?" I think to myself rolling my eyes going to brush my teeth to see if it will kick in soon
       After I'm done I walk over to the shower running my hand over
"Ahhhh there you are" I say happily sliding my clothes off getting in the shower cleaning my body sniffing the air loving that champagne scent from bath and body works (seriously is my favorite scent it's so good) :)
     After I'm done getting dressed I take my bonnet off brushing my hair down into a slick back  before walking out the house towards the bus stop
8:00 am
I unlock Mr.Kings door walking in taking my shoes off and hanging my sweater in the closet walking to the kitchen seeing my list of duties for the day
                Have done by time I wake up
         •mop the kitchen floor
         •sweep and polish my office floor then vacuum my carpet
         •clean the bathroom and organize my cabinet
         when you are done come see me in my office I should be up by then

I sigh putting the list down going to the closet taking out the mop and bucket going to the bathroom to fill the bucket with hot water
"Mop the floor...polish my office floor and blah blah blah blah" I say rolling my eyes walking out the bathroom
"Do you have a problem with your list of today April?" Chris says suddenly scaring me
"N-no sir I was just" I sigh knowing there was no way out of it
"You were what? Mocking me?" He says walking towards me making me nervous as I walk back minding my steps
"S-see sir I-I didn't think you would be up already and I am sorry sir" I say looking down at the bucket
"Apology accepted" he says walking to the  fridge taking out one of his nasty ass drinks that people been drinking "kombucha" taking it and walking towards the stairs
"Don't let it happen again" he says walking up them
"God my heart almost fell out of my ass" I say to myself breathing hard taking the mop out the cleaning water moving it along the floor until I'm finished putting it away then making my way upstairs to start polishing his damn floor as if he can't get on his hands and knees doing this shit putting the sponge down I hear a loud
"Fuck!" I heard Chris yelled followed by a crash and I rush to the bathroom seeing Chris walking out the shower naked and I squeak quickly shutting door hoping he didn't see me
"Aprillll" he yells not knowing I was there 
I stood there not answering for a second to make it seem like I was doing work
"Aprillll" he says and I knock on the bathroom door
"Sir?" I say waiting for him to tell me to come in
"Come here please" he says sitting on the toilet and handing me the first aid kit Pointing to a cut above his brow
"Oh ok sir" I say taking out the alcohol and the q-tips cleaning the blood softly then blowing on it feeling him watch me
"How did this happen?" I ask clearing the thick air
"Well I dropped my soap trying to pick it up I slipped and cut my head on something" he says and stiffle a laugh
"It's ok to laugh April" and I giggle softly opening a bandaid placing it on the cut
"All better champ" I say walking out Feeling his hand on my waist
"Thank you April" he says looking into my eyes and I lick my lips watching him
"Y-your welcome sir" I say walking to his office

After I finish the list I go to his office sitting down
"Sir you wanted me here after I finished cleaning The house"  I say sitting down
"Yes" he says looking up from his computer
"You will be starting your new position at corporate on Monday(it is Friday) I expect ou to be here on the weekend to clean my house you will be paid every 2 weeks and your starting salary will be 25/hr how does that sound April?" He says looking at me
"Will I be getting paid differently from my weekend maid job here?"
"Yes you will...unless you would like to have a check as a maid not get paid cash and let Uncle Sam take his cut" he says raising an eyebrow
"No no no everything is fine" I say smiling
"Good now go get your stuff on I'm taking you home" he says
"No it's fine I can ride the bus" I look down trying to politely decline his offer
"April I'm driving you home so go get your stuff" he says standing. I roll my eyes getting up heading for the door
"You are gonna learn not to roll them eyes little girl" he says walking past I just roll my eyes going downstairs

"Thank you for the ride Sir" I says shut the door  waving going into the house taking off my clothes falling in bed shutting eyes

I yawn stretching and screaming getting up walking out my room to see DeeDee all pretty Hearing the door bell ring

"I'll get it" I yell seeing some shoes sitting on top of a box
"Your shoes here bitch" I say shutting the door walking into her room watching DeeDee pull out some red bottom pumps

"Ohhh them nice they must've cost like a thousand dollars" I joke watching her put them on
"It's strange he knows my size in everything" DeeDee says
"I wouldn't complain you probably got on a five thousand dollar outfit" I say walking out Sitting next to Niah on the couch heating the door bell ring
"Door" I yell seeing DeeDee click clacking over opening it
"We ready time go" DeeDee says as Reece gets up
"I feel like a mom" Niah says and I roll my eyes laughing
"Let me take some pictures" she says outing Jayden in Reece lap taking pics And I mentally aww
"Sit next to him" Niah says as I get up going to my room Seeing my phone ding

I look out the window seeing his car there and him standing outside his car

I put on his hoodie and some leggings with my slides climbing out my window walking towards his car
"My my don't you look cute" he says pulling me towards him
"Where are we going?" I ask
"You'll see when we get there" he says opening the door for me
"Thanks you" I smile thinking to myself
