„Stop it already you fools!“
I could hear Erza shout across the room. Her piercing yells honestly always sent a shiver down my spine, even if I didn’t want to admit it. I silently took my cover as I watched the scarlet haired girl try to separate a pink headed loudmouth and a black haired male that had the strange habit of leaving his clothes laying around everywhere.
“They sure never learn, huh” I said to myself. “Well that’s Natsu and Gray for ya.” Not prepared for a response I turned around to see who that sudden voice belonged to, until my eyes met with a white haired, blue eyed female. “Oh hey Lisanna. Yeah I guess you’re right”, I replied putting my hair behind my ear. “But as long as they’re here it will never get boring and that’s a good thing don’t you think?”. I nodded in agreement.
I haven’t been here for long, but the time I’ve spent here has honestly been the best ever. I never knew what it was like to live in a community, but the way the treated each other in the guild was honestly amazing to me. Everyone was so friendly to one another. Of course there were a few arguments every once in a while, but which family doesn’t have those.
A family.
Never in my life I could have imagined, I’d be so lucky to have one – but I did. Fairy Tail was my new home, my family, my place to feel at ease – and I vowed to protect it no matter the price and for as long as I live.
"Earth to Luna" I could see Lisanna waving furiously infront of my eyes. "Oh sorry... I was just thinking about something", giving her a dull reply I smiled akwardly at her confused face, which soon turned into a concerned one. "Are you feeling alright?", she asked me and tilted her head. "I'm fine", I replied and averted my gaze back onto the trio.
When I first came across those three I wouldn't have imagined them ever becoming my friends.
The fire mage who introduced himself as Natsu, seemed like a total idiot at our first encounter, but he turned out to have a loyal and brave heart and a truly kind soul.
Gray on the other hand seemed rather cold at first but I got to know that this was only his shell and he was actually a pretty fun person to hang around with.
Lastly Erza was the person that was the hardest for me to read at first. She always seemed to stare into distance and be not much of a talker. However as time passed by she started warming up to me more and we became best friends soon after. I always looked up to her as some sort of big sister ever since. But it wasn't just them. Everyone in Fairy Tail was honestly amazing and unique to me. They all treated me with kindness, respect and warmth. It was an amazing feeling, unable to be described in just one word.
Yes I was truly blessed to be here and I couldn't thank the Master enough to give me a wonderful home like this.
"By the way Luna...? Is there someone you like?" caught by suprise over this question I faced Lisanna with big eyes and a confused face.
"What do you mean someone I like? I'm really fond of all of you. Why would it just be a single person? I explained her calmly, not quite understanding the purpose of her question.
She seemed a little bit dissapointed at my reply, yet chose to not further ask about it. She shrugged at me and waved her hand at me as a sign for her to return back to Fairy Hills.
Fairy Hills.
This particular building could be associated with a dormitory for the female Fairy Tail members. It was led by an rather old, strict yet kind lady that treated all of us like her very own children.
Yes us. Because I have found myself a home there as well.
At first it was pretty hard convincing the old woman to give me a room there since I had nothing to offer her as a tribute neither was my magic strong enough to make her trust my ablities to make jewl for my room but thanks to the help to all my friends she gave me a chance at last.
Since that day I've been working really hard in order to get enough jewl to pay my rent. I practiced my magic, went on small jobs with Erza and even took on commoner requests. However all of that wasn't just work to me. It was fun.
I enjoyed roaming around with my new friends, visiting new places and people as well as experiencing all the things I had always missed out in life on.
I must have stood there like a statue for quite a while, because I hadn't seen Natsu standing next to me for quite the time until he raised his voice.
"Oi Luna, what are you thinking about again? You're so weird.", he asked me while putting his hands behind his head yet looking rather concerned.
I gave him a soft smile and turned to him. "Oh it's nothing. So what's up?"
"Well I actually wanted to ask you if you would like to go on a job with me and Happy.", he asked me and I already could see the excitement sparking in his eyes which symbolized his typical 'I'm all fired up now'
'I'm all fired up' was a rather weird sentence Natsu kept on saying, yet it symbolized his spirit and made him the mage he is. I like it.
"Sure! Let's go!", pumped with energy I lifted my bag on my shoulders and tied my hair into a lose bun so it wouldn't get in the way.
"Ready when you are", he said smiling brightly as we left for our job.
