Deadline

School

It was a normal day I thought, until it happened. Me and Jessica we're walking to school like always but I saw something or someone in the a bush we past I said to Jessica "d- did you hear that".
"Hear what she replied" "never mind" I tell her just trying to forget about it, then my phone starts ringing and of course it's Jerry, Jessica notices my annoyed face and asked who is it on the phone and I said "no-one" in a sweet but lighter voice I answer the phone and what Jerry or someone said on the other line scared me. " Bring me 1,000 dollars in cash or your friend hear dies I sent a person to warn you and if you don't show up I will kill your friend and I will hunt you down and kill you to so bring me the money" . I hung up really fast and saw kids
running from school and then I looked up and saw it, it was a fire a REAL FIRE AT SCHOOL I never thought that would ever happen at are school but it did so I reached out to tap Jessica on the arm but she was nowhere near me she was running away from school like I should have but, I felt like there was something inside that wanted me so I started running to the school and I heard Jessica in the distance saying " nooooooo Veronica don't goooo" but I
Admit some part of me wanted to run towards Jessica and never let go but that part of me was deep deep down in my soul so I said to Jessica " I love you" in a very loud voice I heard screaming, cry's, and even a ambulance truck siren but I didn't care.
I went in anyway.

The man with the hood
I walked in the school there was fire everywhere on the walls, the floors, and even some on the doors of classrooms, but I didn't care.
I called out "HELLO ANYONE HERE" but no one answered I heard footsteps so I got scared then I saw a man with a black hood on and it wasn't any hood it was baggy and probably smelled bad but he saw me I
think I really couldn't see any of his face but I got really scared and started to run.
I looked back and saw nothing but then I turned around to catch my breath and I saw complete darkness but I was in pain, pain from my knee.
